Wow, 20 years. I saw this fairly early into my first significant relationship, with my ex. I remember her liking the movie, and finding the ending somehow profound. ("Kill the babysitter!") Me, not so much.

I played the first one close to when it was released. Back then, it seemed like a pretty significant span of time between 1 and 2. And admittedly, the cities in 2 lacked much personality—just a lot of NPC's with identical dialogue. So my first impression of Zelda was that of a solitary quest, with few areas to…
Totally. I'm old enough to consider "cities" in Zelda games to be a weird, new development.
I guess I can see that—it's not the most edge-of-your-seat game, but I dig the atmosphere.
I'll go with Wind Waker, but the HD remake of Twilight Princess is really, really good.
The HD remake of Twilight Princess has had me remembering/realizing what a great game it is. I really like the feeling of a real, lived-in world it instills.
Can. Not. Wait.
Yep. Though I've been enjoying the HD remasters of WW and TP, plus Hyrule Warriors. Right now I'm approaching the end of TP, but am trying to get every item/stamp/heart, etc. before I finish it.
I think that's a fair guess. At this point, it does seem like they're intent on putting all of the pieces into place before revealing her.
I will say, it's interesting how the show can make me actually root for the Mountain, who's defending Cersei, when dealing with the faith militant. They're both undoubtedly mostly evil people (and/or zombies), but there I was cheering when he ripped that dude's head off.
It really works for so many things. "Who murdered that waif?" "No one!"
LOL. I was thinking those were wounds she likely wouldn't have recovered from at ALL, much less recover in 24 hours or so. What, the nice actress lady not only stitched up her abdomen, but her internal organs as well? She was in the wrong business. Who needs a red lady when you have her around?
If it means we can move on from the whole "Faceless Men" plotline, I'm willing to accept that and just stop thinking about it.
In a show featuring magic, dragons, and zombies, I found the most unbelievable part to be Arya's amazing recovery from her stab wounds, and subsequent ability to go all parkour through the city, even after a jump that would have broken both her ankles (and sounded like it), and landing flat on her abdomen where the…
That's what I was trying to figure out. Was the plan the whole time to have her kill the waif? Was it a test of some kind? I really wasn't sure what the goal of that whole thing was.
Ehhhhhh…..actually, I thought it was sadly obvious when it wasn't David Prowse in the costume at the end of Ep. III. I understood why they'd want to keep the same actor as Anakin/Darth, but he looked "off" from the OT version.
Man, those are some cool ideas. Maybe what's most disappointing about the prequels is that they really could have done something cool like this. I don't mind a lot of the overall plot, but the details and execution botched it. It was hard to focus on Anakin being slowly corrupted while he was having the most…
You know, playing a guy that held the hopes of a devoted following in his hands, only to squander the opportunity and disappoint those who had trusted him, might be a natural fit for the him.
I really liked him until it was unveiled that, yes, of course, he IS a bad guy. I thought either a red-saber-wielding guy who turns out to be good, or at least be nuanced enough to give the good guys pause, would have been a cool way to play it. Either we see that not EVERYONE who looks "evil", in fact, is, or you…
I'll also add my praise for #1 Crush. I've never been a particularly HUGE fan, but I've liked most of what I've heard. That song, though. Man. I also think it's the best Depeche Mode song they never wrote.
