I wondered if stuff like the Zelda remasters have something to do with them not wanting to make the originals available easily/cheaply.

Spider-Man didn't bother me—I think the car's movement helps. Awesome ride, though. IIRC, it was also the most expensive ride ever built at the time.

At the risk of making it seem like I have an opinion (I don't), I'd say it worked for her. She's the only Playboy bunny whose name I could MAYBE recall.

I feel kind of silly for not knowing whose symbol this was. I think I saw someone wearing it at a Comic Con a couple of years ago, but for some reason thought it was something to do with Marvel's Phoenix. Different color, obviously, but the design seems pretty similar.

Hm. I'm not sure if I'd like it, but I'd sure as heck BUY it.

How about just, "Surprise, the new Zelda is actually ready now. It's at the store, go and buy it! Also, another's on the way. It'll be ready by Christmas."

Yeah, I thought that sounded fairly diplomatic. I think the coasters are designed to practically run themselves, minus a few safety checks and button pushes. They don't exactly need someone with an engineering degree to run the thing.

"Goddammit, Tyler, do these you find these amusement park rides….AMUSING?!?!"

I would guess that screaming might make you miss some kind of problem—a noise, perhaps—that they need to focus on to determine the ride is ok to go. It does sound silly, but if you're to test the rides, I suppose shouting "Wheeee!" might come off as unfocused on the task at hand.

I also got to work with a couple of different companies in Orlando, which were involved with Universal Studios. One was focused on audio systems, and another was ride and show control systems. This meant I got to climb up on the catwalks in the Twister ride, ET, Men In Black, etc. And for Men In Black, I literally

Yeah, I was the kid who was afraid to ride them, which made the park kind of suck for me back then. I was there and I was supposed to have fun, but it was largely a source of anxiety instead. I overcame that in high school, and loved some of those coasters since, but I swear, the last time I went to CP, they had

I think those "virtual" rides are far worse than coasters, in terms of making you sick. In my experience, you don't get nauseated in a coaster, because you're actually moving forward the whole time. You might walk out a little weak-kneed, or banged up (some coasters ride rougher than others, and can kind of beat you

I lived just a couple hours from Cedar Point, so I'm pretty familiar with it. (At least up until the mid-90's or so.) Thing is, it kind of sucked, being the kid that was scared to death of roller coasters. So I didn't always have the fondest memories of that place. ("Sure, you guys go ahead, I'll meet you at the

Yeah. My biggest problem with Other M was just that it wasn't terribly memorable or immersive, compared to the epic Prime games, which I still remember certain environments distinctly. I got rid of my Gamecube some time ago, but am holding onto the Wii just for the ability to play those games, and a few others.

I've been on the fence about game remasters, but have really enjoyed the Zelda ones. The Prime games are probably the next ones I would love to see. I'm also convinced that the Gamecube must have had the best lineup of games since the NES.

The Wii U is the only current console I have, so that may say something about me, but for the life of me I don't understand how they wouldn't have at least one major game of each major franchise planned to correspond to each system. I've enjoyed the heck out of the Zelda HD games, but am STILL waiting on a new one.

It seems odd, to me, to see someone be a Bjork/Sugarcubes fan, but not have Post or Homogenic in there.

Interestingly enough, the guy in the record shop who looks up and asks Jack Black's character about them has worked as a bartender in the Chicago area. I've never said anything to him about it, seeing as how I was never a regular enough to ask, and I figured it would be kind of stupid to even bring up anyway.

Everyone TJ Miller plays is a "TJ Miller character". The guy's hilarious, but range isn't exactly his strong suit.

Oh yeah, I forgot! Good on 'em for at least keeping the one good thing about X3.
