Had hoped that Kent would be back, as he's popped up in rehearsal and audience shots. Also would like to see the return of Joshua. Agree that it's sad not to have Janette.

Seriously, Carmen Electra?
First of all, Donna, I disagree with you only about Jess and Clarice. Theirs was my favorite dance of the night. Finally they worked with a choreographer who recognized and utilized their strengths and their skillsets (and their size).

Shenanigans
I didn't see The Beatles in this at all. Kinda crappy remake if you ask me.

I love Cat…
but can we please begin supplying her with colloquialisms for applause other than "put your hands together"? A phrase like that should be sprinkled throughout a host's vernacular as an ironic alternative, along with things like "let's hear it for…" "show your love for …" "please welcome …" "you may now

Wondering about dancer from last season
Who was that tall kid from last season's auditions, the one with the beaming smile, who got cut by Mary Murphy in a house visit? He, like Ryan, seemed almost certain to be included, and his attempt to hold his smile after Mary gave him the bad news was heartbreaking to watch

Two things
When I hear the title "Major Crimes," I picture Ted and Robin saluting.

That's the thing: Compared to some of the stellar TV comedy that's on today, Mike & Molly is mediocre, deserving of the C+ rating. I couldn't recommend that A.V. Club put it in its roster and I usually don't recommend it to anyone else (not like I do, say, Community or Cougar Town or Modern Family). But I like it and

May it please the court …
Steve's post makes excellent points about the treatment of the lead characters' body image and the emphasis on food and I have no comments on that.

Solid A
I had first agreed with Mr. Noel Murray and gave this a B+, but then my future self came back and said I was being a dick, and I changed my grade to an A. And then my future self told me that's not why he called me a dick and then he left.

I have no problem with the Bond product placement
but I am sure tired of seeing Morgan Spurlock's naked frame all over AV Club. Mr. Spurlock, as I know you're a regular reader of AV Club, may I please take this opportunity to point out that while your pasty ass is not the most unattractive male figure out there, it

Cute, but still not as good
as the Saul Bass-style Star Wars credits.

If I did yoga…
my mantra would be "Will.mother.I.fucking.Am."

'It's tough for me to write about "Original Song" … '
… said Todd at the beginning of the sixth paragraph.

Geez, if you have to explain it …

What tigsnort said.

Gen on Jen
Ordinarily I would not forward this video to anyone because it's boring. But because it comes wrapped within a delightfully droll and witty commentary by Genevieve Koski, I must now forward it to everyone I know, and encourage them to forward it to all the folks they know.

Thank you
Thanks very much for agreeing to do regular reviews of what I consider to be (and snobbishly refer to as) the REAL "Being Human."

Duh … losing!
Unfortunately for the otherwise-great Bill Hader, Jimmy Fallon's superior Sheen impersonation already had gone viral this week. Hader wound up looking like an also-ran.

Behind the curtain
It's interesting and amusing to see the AVClub guys in "real life" in these videos and realize that 1. they're just average schmucks like the rest of us (I guess I was expecting intellectual badasses) and 2. Sharon Stone could kick the shit out of any one of them.

Another request for AVClub recaps of UK version
Again I'm late to the party, but I'd like to add my request for recaps of the UK version of Being Human. Usually I don't mind "Americanizing" a show (I use quotes because the "American" version of BH seems very Canadian; "North American," I guess), but the Syfy version
