Summer comic book superhero movies, Nathan. Their antagonists are going to be worse than they are, mark my words.

Love you for that Hitchcock reference, and also exactly so.

400 Days came out in 2013 actually.

Quite. Stalin was the Man of Steel. Get it right, oddly named person.

I liked Ang Lee's Hulk. I went to see it because of Crouching Tiger and I generally had a good time. He basically took the Hulk story and treated it as kind of a Frankenstein narrative about an uncontrollable personal darkness and other self. With punches.

Counterpoint: Blue Is The Warmest Colour. Whatever you think of it, it's a comic book movie that got major awards traction, so there's that.

How can you miss him if he never leaves?

It's already expanding its tendrils beyond comic book movies; Disney's strategy for multiple Star Wars films including 'standalone' films and maybe a TV series on ABC seem to owe something to the Marvel method.

I think Douglas Samson rebooted again.

The problem with a movie where your villains are the heroes is: So who are they fighting? Other, meaner villains? It feels like they wanted to do an Avengers style film universe, but since their only characters are Spider-Man and characters adjacent to Spider-Man (like his bad guys) they have to go this route.

Also: Co-produced with the BBC? This is the first I've heard of this claim. BBC4's airing of Borgen has certainly raised its profile in the Anglosphere, but it is a production of DR, Denmark's public broadcaster.

Fair dues. I think we can all agree that we'd be in a better world if it was completely comfortable for Siddig to not have a stage name.

This is probably a good place to point out you can, as of right now, get three Fallout games (1, 2 and Tactics) for the low price of absolutely free on gog.com. They are having their big winter sale right before Steam's, and looks like a lot of stuff will be competitively priced.

But a character from a seventh season episode of Next Generation who doesn't appear in the episode is not the kind of thing you expect closure on.

Yes he was making those comparisons. That they are joking comparisons does not invalidate them being comparisons. An exaggeration does not mean he didn't say those things, which he did, and thus they are perfectly acceptable reasons to be sick of the guy.

That's still just over half of SHIELD's.
