because clearly i have nothing better to do
i was just rewatching, and noticed something i'd missed in the previous episode. when sarah called 90210 to warn him that wicked witchbot was on its way up to get its next target, after he already answered we hear some random touch-tones. i think this means they have a new

another good, understated weaver moment
another moment from weaver that i really like tremendously is a little subtle: when she's talking to that underling about how to deal with children, the underling says (of her child), "sometimes i wanted to kill him!" and weaver briefly, gently nodded with complete

total A episode
i thought this episode was super strong. there was nearly nothing i didn't like about it. the weaver storyline was especially compelling and well-done. and the fight scene was excellent. i enjoyed how, expressionless as they both were, cameron still came across as completely confident she'd win;

guilty pleasure as charged
i agree with that characterization of the show, and hence i'm probably too biased to offer a good review. i pretty much just love vampires (and robots, which is why i also give terminator a total pass when it comes to flaws in logic, pacing, and development), so i can overlook a ton of

full season ordered
there will be at least 17 more episodes:

"um." is my favorite quotation from Kurt Vonnegut's novels. it's in most of them.

you seem trustworthy… please teach our random preteens how to handle rifles!
i'm glad you mentioned the background check issue, Zack, since i was afraid i'd just missed something.

pleased
i was quite happy with the episode.  i felt like the best aspects of season one were back, after a rocky start this season.

yeah, her logo work for the DM commercial was pretty good. i think a lot of graphic design is having a good eye for taste and balance, a modicum of creativity, and technical skills. pam has those first two, at least.

brown shout-out! we win all rivalries because of our epic simpsons burn in the episode "lisa gets an A".

so to answer your question, i give this episode about a B!
good, not great.

thank you, staircar1; i missed that!

huh… simpsons getting better?
i chuckled. out loud. again! that's like twice in three weeks for the simpsons. what is happening??

i just re-read my post above, and now i feel kind of sad and pathetic.

after some google-imaging, i'm pretty sure it was Tobin Bell.

c'mon, clubbers, i know what a crone is. Sister Sledge, i do like your explanation of the comedy behind it. but i also think there's something sonically odd about the scream that liz emits right after he says it. i think that's why i retroactively heard floyd's exclamation as "crow."

floyd: "CROW!" —?
i did not quite grasp the shocked interaction of liz and floyd when he showed up at her doorstep in the morning. it sounded like he shouted, "crow!" (or "crone"?), and then liz screamed like a crow. i'm imagining that there's more to it than that.

"i'll do it, but just for the attention."

two hints about creed's position:
