i also have to give them credit for the end credit music (and other miscellaneous segments) that sorta merged standard 30 rock musical cues with the requiem's style and instrumentation. good show!

i heart 30 rock for using so much material from the Mozart requiem. however, jeers for editing out the part of the confutatis right before the tenors get to sing, "FLAMMIS ACRIBUS ADDICTIS!"

agreed. it reminded me of i think my favorite office moment ever: when ryan came back from corporate and kelly told him she was pregnant. i love the quick cuts to her solo interview.

i don't think i cracked a smile during this simpsons ep. i don't mind some rehashing, but all the original episodes—"lisa learns to tap dance," and "lisa against nicotine," "lisa against nicotine again," "lisa becomes a gymnast,"were funny. this was not.

nope, i'm a kinsey 6. but i just thought it was interesting to have that image in the same episode in which dr. silberman talked about the T-1000 and called it beautiful (when Summer Glau is also obviously beautiful). seems like they were really trying to draw attention to the parallel.

i don't remember whether anyone commented last week about the obvious reference to T2 (so obvious i just noticed it). when cameron breaks into the power plant at the beginning, wearing those aviator sunglasses and the cop helmet, she bears a striking resemblance to the most iconic image…

i think sarah is master of her kitchen, and had told everyone she would handle the roast. i liked that, actually. instead of cursing them for not taking it out, what she says as she pulls it out is, "it's fine." i like how she's trying to play traditional mom, and is upset that it's not going so well.

i really enjoyed both episodes.

the problem is, though, that in this episode, sarah explicitly said that june 8, 1997 was the date that john and ahnold busted her out of pescadero (i.e. T2).
