How sad is it that basically the only aspect of war this man even somewhat opposes is torture because he actually underwent it? Is this the least empathetic human being on the planet? Am I gonna bite? Yeah, fuck it. The whole point of the William Hung bit was that it was bad and instantly dated - a cheesy, d-grade celebrity cameo befitting something as crass and gimmicky as Mock Trial with J. Reinhold. Anything "better" than that would've lost the gag.

Loved it the first time I saw it, but the big thing that struck me going back a second time a little while later after better familiarizing myself with Bergman was not just how funny it is but funny in ways Bergman never is otherwise. There's actual slapstick in it.
