For all the hate Gil gets, I have to say I find Dennah to be the weakest character. The actress who plays her doesn't seem to be very good at delivering comedic lines. Just imagine how much better Elisha Cuthbert would've been as Dennah!

True, the cast members that aren't Casey Wilson don't seem to have a handle on those Happy Endings style one-liners. Dennah is especially bad with them.

I find the show enjoyable enough, but I think it's hard not to be disappointed if you went in expecting the next Happy Endings.

Am I the only one who remembers John Gemberlings old Adult Swim show "Fat Guy Stuck in the Internet" ? I haven't seen it in years but remember thinking it was pretty funny when it aired, I especially remember liking the Labyrinth parody with Matt Besser as the villain. Pally and Gemberling were also funny together on some episodes of improv4humans.

I usually find it annoying when people go to the "funny singing" well too often, but Caseys one of the few who I think does it well. She actually has a legit good voice, but knows has to make it funny, like when she exaggerates that crazy vibrato.

I actually thought Gil was pretty funny in this episode.

He needs to at least make a guest appearance on there. Wilson had great chemistry with Pally that seems to be missing with most of Marry Me's supporting cast. Is it too late to replace the Gil character with Pally???
