Well y'all are making me feel "with-it." I, for once in the 10 years I've been reading this site, have a majority of these albums, and have listened to them all a ton. Personally I think many of them are overrated, but at least I got to drink the AV Club Kool-Aid for a year to see what it's like!

Kanye went all "Oscar-Baiting" on us by releasing his album at the last minute. I think once it gets processed some more, it won't hold up. I think it's a fantastic album, but it will get tiresome and annoying after a while of listening to it.

Not sure if Em could get any better than his verses on "Renegade" with Jay-Z. What made those verses amazing is primarily the flow and rhymes, but also the fact that the tone was laid back at first, but built to a relatively slow boil. As opposed to his other verses which start at 11 and go up from there.
