I can understand why Maggie was trying to work through the pain, but it was the way she did it that was shitty. Who could blame those parents for being skeptical when the plan changes so abruptly, and they weren't even informed?

Couldn't agree more, Gwen. That tumor/mother metaphor was as subtle as a brick, and Maggie was shit for stealing the surgery the way she did.

Yeah, I like Maggie, but that was cold. And untrue.

Nice to see a positive review for People Places Things. I only heard lukewarm reviews.

Didn't work for me either, especially about Diane. Credit to Kelly's performance, but the whole episode felt manipulative, not to mention confusing. After they realized that Diane was going to die, how much time passed until her actual death? Why wasn't Maggie's father there for any of it?

Travesty, indeed. Cavill was just delightfully smug as Solo, and he and Hammer had great chemistry. One of the few sequels I would go see.

I saw Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, while I was doing spring cleaning. Although it's not as good as the first, it's definitely enjoyable. Efron's character is surprisingly sympathetic, and some of his more "arrested development" moments definitely hit close to home. I can't speak for his dramatic roles, but this is

They're dropping American Dad, too? Losing Bob's Burgers is bad enough.

The characterization is a good point. I'm not even a huge fan of the JP franchise, but I remember Lex, Tim, Dr. Malcolm, etc. The characters in JW were so generic and forgettable. Generic action man, generic kids, generic workaholic, etc.

Don't worry, Elizabeth Debicki is definitely getting more work. She was great in The Man from U.N.C.L.E, and I think she's the main villain in Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

Can't really say anything that hasn't already been said. It's a hilarious show that deserves more love. I miss the reviews on here. :(

In the very beginning, Klaus was the sinister asshole and Roger was the sensitive alien. They basically switched their personalities. But Klaus works better when he's pathetic, and Roger works as the selfish egomaniac. That said, it is nice to see Klaus win every once in a while.

When I heard about Colin Farrell playing Ollie North, I immediately thought of this episode.

I loved Roger singing UB40's, "Red Red Wine."

The Mad Cow disease is one of their more underrated eps. Stan singing along with the "woodland creatures" is hilarious.

The fact that his personas are so different, yet intrinsically tied to his genuinely awful, selfish behavior makes the character so hilarious, and episodes like The One That Got Away so interesting.

I agree. I can see why people love it, but it just doesn't work for me.

We can forget both, as far as I'm concerned. Stan Goes on the Pill was middling and weak, but American Fung was just garbage.

That's probably Hayley's best episode, and some amazing guest stars in it.

(chuckling) "Why, why can't I let things end nice?"
