Capshaw was on maternity leave so I think they're giving her a few pop-up appearances in the meantime. But she is at loose ends at the moment, with Callie and Sofia gone.

That's fair. Either way, someone was dying and that's nothing to celebrate, especially when it's someone so young and in the prime of their life. She wouldn't even get to see her sister's baby. It was definitely a sad situation, and I was glad she got the astronaut's organ in the end.

The joyful occasion was June getting the liver at all, not her getting it over Chelsea. And in all fairness, even Miranda understood that Chelsea's medical need for the liver put her in a higher priority. June's family understood it, too.

I think this is the best Maggie's been in a while. For once, she was behaving like a capable doctor and not a giggling schoolgirl whenever her crush was around.

After what happened with Cristina, I can't see them doing that baby plot again with Owen, either. Amelia did look relieved. Maybe she just wants to give it some more thought before they go headfirst into parenthood.

I also hope the bartender shows up again. It was nice to see someone real among the crowd of crazy. Like the guy caressing his own nipples.

Alfred did mention Amadeus. I wasn't sure if they were talking about the film or something else, though.

Also, I'm pretty sure that was Marcus Miles driving the car. He was wearing this ridiculous straw hat in the club, and if you look carefully when the invisible car shows up, the driver is wearing the same one.

I loved his little sage-like nod when Paper Boi said the invisible car wasn't real. Darius knew better.

"That boy's gonna be a star!"

"Somebody smells like a Wendy's Double Stack."

Thank you. I'm wondering if they don't bother listing the music on the HBO website anymore because streaming is the norm now.

Yeah, I'm trying not to compare this to the original because it's unfair. But I do miss the other cast, namely her coworkers. They were written a lot more broadly, though, and this is only the second week.

Not as funny as last week, but still pretty good. Nice to see "Baby Voice" from the webseries as Thug Yoda. I thought he was talking about We Bare Bears with his daughter until I caught the weird "B" aversion. But it's cool. I mean, bool.

It's a pun on the phrase "home for the holidays."

Unless Justin has said something in an interview, I don't see why he would leave. He's an original cast member and long time favorite. Plus, Grey's is a steady paycheck.

It does seem like Owen and Amelia (lol @ crack neurosurgeon) are basically high on love at the moment. They rushed into marriage, now they're rushing into a baby.

I'm sure that will happen, probably as a cliffhanger in a mid-season finale. Meredith will keep on denying her growing feelings for McBland only for them to start making out in a closed off room, and Maggie walks in. End scene, begin credits.

Last week's episode was better, but I'll still take the review. Thanks, Caroline.

One of my favorite insults to Cole was from Tommy.
