Angel has definitely made the rounds. It was also used in a promo for that failed HBO show Tell Me You Love Me.

"You guys wanna play some baseball?"

SatC formally introduced me to the trip-hop group Thievery Corporation. I kept hearing snippets from "Indra" but had no idea what the song was called, let alone the group performing it. When I heard the song in a SatC episode, I immediately went to HBO's website afterwards where they listed the songs from the

Reflections by The Supremes, which was the theme song to the show China Beach. That show was a staple in my house as a kid.

I really enjoyed High-Rise, once I got what they were trying to do with it. But like you, I get why people hated it. Hell, the opening scene alone caused walkouts. But it was perversely funny, and it made a few attempts to explain the weird stuff that the book didn't try to.

True, but at least the judges don't scream at the contestants or mock them when their stuff falls apart. That would just make the loss ten times worse. Even though it's a competition, they really want the contestants to do their best. And the contestants support each other as well.

God, yes. The lack of confessionals in this show is so refreshing. None of the "I'm not here to make friends, I'm here to WIN" bullshit.

Yeah, "pitta" confused me for about five minutes until I saw the actual pita bread sitting there.

TGBBO is a lovely gem of a show, and the only reality series I watch. It has such a pleasant vibe, from the pastoral landscape to the goofy puns. There's a real feeling of effort and pride these people put into their creations and even though it's a competition, it's great to see them help each other out or offer a

Seriously, that was incredible. Just so much detail and it ended up gorgeous. He really should have been proud of that.

Yeah, that was a bad idea. She made something that looks messy (a cake that looks like an unmade bed) but the judges couldn't objectively score it because it was already messy. I felt bad for her, too.

Yeah, I'm not thrilled about it. The new one for Thor sucks, too. Should have just left the old one for Ragnarok.

I just hope that this can lead to better stuff for her. Besides Star Wars and her theater work, she's basically been invisible since her win.

Given all the tv coverage they're dropping, probably not. :(

As far as I'm concerned, Sex and the City ended after the series finale; the movies never happened. Just overblown, frothy pieces of shit that wrecked the progress the women had made in the course of the series.

Same. It was nice to see Jay with a decent woman who genuinely cared about him. And that episode with her ditching her loser country singing ex was one of my faves.

Seriously, that made no fucking sense. The entire hill was swallowed up by a fireball and the kid walks away unscathed? Bullshit.

Didn't like the ending, either. It was clearly meant for the Fry/Leela "shippers" to see them finally having a happy life together, but it sucked because everyone else was literally froze in time around them. For me, Futurama wasn't just about Fry and Leela, it was about the whole crew at Planet Express, the weirdos

Yeah, I love the Wolf. It was interesting how methodical his process was; the steps it took to properly dispose a body. Using the sheets, remaining calm, what cleaning products to use, etc.

Same. I hated that pairing. Monica and Chandler were neurotic enough on their own, but put together was just insufferable.
