I've loved the Dark Tower Series of books since I was a child and I've enjoyed reading them with my Father over the years. That being said I REALLY hope they never make the film of it; I know they're gonna fuck it up something awful. The only way I think it could work is as an animated miniseries.

If you haven't, "Cabin in the Woods" more than lived up to the hype for me. I'm a big horror fan but I've been wary of anything released after 1995. This one is awesome and hopefully we'll see more like it. Also, "Fascination", a French film from 1975 is a good euro-trash classic that I know is up on there.

I thought that the first movie was find of terrible. Sorry to bring the hate on this, but when I go see a movie I never get up to go to the bathroom unless it's a dire emergency. With Wolf Creek, I felt no need to stay seated and didn't miss a thing.

It's such a random thing; I've known people who had it for years and you'd have never known they had it unless they told you and then you have some who get it on Friday and by Monday they're a different person.
