Oh, god.  I've met David Liebe Hart a few times, and for the record, it's not an act at all: everything you see on screen is exactly the way he carries himself in public.  I heard him in a near-empty coffee shop explaining to the (very patient, very good at keeping a straight face) barista about the time he was

A fine but not great survival story ruined by a horrible, horrible, horrible ending.  I threw the book across the room in disgust.   The trailer looked so bad I thought the first few good reviews were a joke. But they've been consistent…

@avclub-d97c16c74811900ef6828533ebe1547c:disqus : How in the world do all the songs sound the same?  Seven Swans is at least an almost entirely acoustic guitar album, so I'd understand that kind of criticism for that kind of album, but Adz?  Outside of maybe tracks 6 and 10 I can't name two songs that sound remotely

It's fine if it's not your thing - no accounting for taste, after all - but I'll defend the album as his best work to date.  Funny thing is, I actively dislike "Impossible Soul", which, after its excellent first three minutes, is easily

His last album debuted at #7 of the Billboard 200 and scored strong reviews across the board.  Not sure if invisible is the right word.

I used to be in that position.  I ignored it when it was on television, and I cited Roseanne's very brash, nasal delivery as a reason I didn't care to watch the show.

While I agree in general, you really should check out Sufjan's.  It's pretty much the opposite of commercial, unless you expect holiday hits to shout "You are Santa's slave!" at unsuspecting elves.

Maybe my favorite Romero, although it does have one strike against it: the police v drug dealers shootout is somewhat poorly prepared and shot, and it's the film's only false note (says I).
