Am I actually making that point? I don't see that anywhere in my post. I argue that there's "more" to certain films than others, but that shouldn't be controversial: some films are all surface text, and some are palimpsests (and most may be a bit of both, and that's why we analyze and debate.)

Doesn't have to be drama, though: comedy can be (and often is) just as good at verisimilitude, in the right hands. I'd say just shy of a quarter of the movies on the list would qualify as 'reality', but not in their economics.
