Werd, what the hell was your old job? I don't blame you for leaving if they made you watch Transformers.
"Life is precious. And God. And The Bible."
I forgot about it 'til I read it above - I haven't watched Friends in many years - but I laughed my ass off at that line.
Oops, Gorg, I didn't see your comment and remarked to the same effect above. Howie's fantasy and vastly different reality break my heart.
Vicki Lewis is so underrated. The entire original ensemble cast is awesome, of course, but I could never figure out why Vicki didn't go on to bigger and better things after the show - she is so goddamned funny and her timing is dead-on. The Christmas episode where she and Bill attempt to do a radio spot for Dream Come…
Daydream is brilliant in many ways, but it's so hard to watch because of snack-guy Howie. I'm just too soft-hearted, I guess, because it breaks my heart every time when he comes back to harsh reality and realizes that no one cares about him or even remembers his name.
"If Mandy Patinkin Was a Horse!"
I still swear that if I ever own a horse, that's the name I'll give it.
He was fun in Bad Santa, but he was basically just playing himself…wait. That's what he did in every film role. Still, though, he was a lot of fun to watch. He always seemed thiiiiiis close to beating the shit out of everybody.
I would probably see a movie called "Imagine That, Motherfucker!" Even if it DID star late-period Eddie Murphy.
I have enjoyed the hell out of these quotefests.
It's been said here a million times before, but Phil Hartman absolutely makes the NewsRadio experience for me. That feeling of joy at watching a consummate performer mixed with a selfish sadness as I have to acknowledge that he's not here to find new ways to make me laugh my ass off makes watching the show a unique…
Can't help but love NOFX. Not the best music lyrically (or musically) by a long shot, but it makes me nostalgic for my teens and a lot of the songs are a fuck of a lot of fun. It's always welcome when it comes up on my iPod.
Just don't post pics of everything else Frank does in a day, because, well, gross.
It's always worthwhile to embiggen your vocabulary.
hmm
I was going to ask if this film was the reason Ed's character Andy had to go to anger management for several weeks on the office, but I just realized that happened like 2 seasons ago, so maybe not. Unless it took that long for this film to get finished.
My PBS affiliate has been driving me insane with Wayne Dyer specials, day and night. As if that weren't bad enough, the clinically insane maintenance man at my job discovered Dyer thanks to PBS and has now been proselytizing about the man's self-help bullshit, all over the office.
I don't enjoy firsties, but I do enjoy the Donny Douche user, mostly because of that unsettling avatar.
Those lyrics are fuckin-a awesome. Rest in peace, lady! You will be missed.
Troll MFer, I should clarify that it's only funny because it didn't happen to me or anyone I know. I'm sure it wasn't funny to the tourists.
