steve carell
Didn't Steve Carell direct Casino Night, the 2nd-season finale? I can't remember if he directed it or wrote it, but either way, that was a bad-ass episode too. The guy's no slouch.

I did think it was kind of weird that they wrote out Selma several episodes ago, only to bring her back for one episode and immediately write her out again. What's up with that? Just to drag the story arc out a little longer so Jack can talk about Elisa, but without actually paying the guest star to show up?

I like that we heard the guys talking about the prankster hats before we actually knew what they were talking about - when Donaghy opens the door and says something to the effect that Liz is the manliest person there. Hornberger's all "can we wear FEATHERS on the fedoras?!"

Thank you both for getting that turd of a song stuck in my head.

Yeah, let's wrap this up, Kirk. We all know the answer: Mr. T should appear in everything. ESPECIALLY as Mac in "Mac 'n' Me."

@Kirk:

Does American Movie count as a "mockumentary" (ugh)? If so, put that on the list.

I was already laughing at "hugerer," but Sir Mixalot's username sent me over the edge. Thanks.

Subway Justice, your avatar is awesome.

I saw thevideo for "College" a few weeks ago and had been blissfully unaware of Roth before then. The whole thing seemed like a calculated (and hastily executed) attempt to separate frat boys from their money, which I don't have a problem with, but I could have lived happily without ever hearing the song. Or seeing

I'd never heard Janis was gay before either. I'm not saying she wasn't, but the mention in this article came as a surprise to me.

Krok, I thought she was bringing the chair so she could sit next to him and keep jabbering, but your explanation makes more sense.

I wish they would've done more with that sexual harassment literature angle. Frank's shock and horror at its draconian rules could've been mined for more comedy, but instead they took it down the predictable path and gave the subplot to Kenneth. I'm starting to agree that, as much as I like Ken myself, and as much as

The name "Jackie Jormp-Jomp" all by itself pretty much made me laugh harder than anything else. I like that her fake Janis-y names keep getting worse and worse.

Yes. Inquiring minds want to know!

"If You've Got the Money, I've Got the Time" would make a FABULOUS disco song. And I don't even like disco!

wow,
I knew this was about Phil SPECTOR. I already read the jury was back on the Phil Spector case today, so it was fresh in my mind.

Remember when Hilary Duff was the "tween" (ugh) superstar of the moment? Whatever happened with that? That chick hasn't been around in forever.
