Happy Endings might pay more, it's ABC… and she has a higher title, I think.

That's right about Jane. I think we could also do more friends from their past too or one of the black people Brad was hanging out with in the premiere or even a parent. Community is all about world-building, I hope Winston brought that sensibility.

Absolutely. We have to have a variation on the:

Daaammmn. This show is hot. I haven't enjoyed a legitimate primetime soap this much since Pasadena. I loved how our expectations were subverted with the opening. I thought that it was going to point toward a whodunnit, but I'm glad we know Frank killed her. That fight was hilarious and also, incredibly boss.

Absolute favorite episode of Happy Endings. Loving Hilary Winston as an addition to the staff.

This episode was really funny. I want this to become one of my favorite sitcoms, it has the potential to be a new kind of Laverne & Shirley or Cheers. How I Met Your Mother worked out its kinks and became one of my favorite recent sitcoms, so it's not unprecedented for CBS.

I'd argue that we as audience members are the ones who feel the central warmth for the characters — and we enjoy it when they enjoy banding together (either against an outside force or one of their own).

I have been enjoying the season, but it's a little less razor-sharp focused as last season started out. Maybe CBS mandated that things be a little more stand-alone at the outset of this season? This episode was an odd one to do — aside from the resolution being kinda obvious, it wasn't the focal point of the episode.

Oh! Oddly enough, I know the answer to that @avclub-bd42bf65086cf73f0edfc6308d39fc51:disqus. It'll be revealed in an upcoming episode, probably next week, but would have been clear if the scene hadn't been cut from this week's Revenge —

Aside from The Departed, I'd say The Ring, True Lies, The Birdcage, Unfaithful. It's rare, but it happens. I'm very much against an American remake of Attack the Block.

I don't see that as a problem, I guess. We knew there was a way to stop them last season, with leaving the knife in them, but other than that they seemed all-powerful until we met Michael. I don't particularly need to know the how because Klaus being scared enough to run means that Michael can kill an Original and

That was definitely my initial thought too. I thought her heart might stop or something and she'd get revived, but they've gone to that well too many times.

GAH. This show is insane! Tyler's neck getting snapped seriously made me scream out loud and I should have known that was only the beginning, seeing as how we were on 13 episodes in.  I love that the mythology keeps unfolding in a really fun way, I can't even imagine what this show will be like in it's freaking 5th

I can't remember, I've seen the episode once — every online source either says she was dead or in a coma. I'd hope dead at least, which would be reason not to go find her.

Jessica was in front of a firing squad in South America. She later appear as a ghost to Benson on his spin-off, claiming she was okay and in a coma in South America. Of course, why he never went to find her is beyond me…

Jodie wasn't straight so much as hypnotized into thinking he was an older Jewish man.

Has anyone mentioned that this show is a bit like an updated version of The Dick Van Dyke show? Just in that we have a married couple and one works in showbiz. I think the way to balance the show out is to shift a lot of the focus to Applegate as a working mom and still wanting a relationship with her baby and for the

I absolutely love Soap, and I've started to hear more about it online in recent years which is great since I wasn't around to watch when it first aired. I was probably the audience for this — I enjoy soapy shows and comedy — and it's probably done a lot to mold the type of writing that I do. I loved the humor and

I could only hope for Gilmore Girl novels…

What the hell. I like the song and the album a lot, but I need to not see this again or Big Troubles might into a band that irritates me.
