Daaammmn. This show is hot. I haven't enjoyed a legitimate primetime soap this much since Pasadena. I loved how our expectations were subverted with the opening. I thought that it was going to point toward a whodunnit, but I'm glad we know Frank killed her. That fight was hilarious and also, incredibly boss.

This episode was really funny. I want this to become one of my favorite sitcoms, it has the potential to be a new kind of Laverne & Shirley or Cheers. How I Met Your Mother worked out its kinks and became one of my favorite recent sitcoms, so it's not unprecedented for CBS.

I'd argue that we as audience members are the ones who feel the central warmth for the characters — and we enjoy it when they enjoy banding together (either against an outside force or one of their own).

I have been enjoying the season, but it's a little less razor-sharp focused as last season started out. Maybe CBS mandated that things be a little more stand-alone at the outset of this season? GAH. This show is insane!
