xochi: Haven't played Revolution, but you're right about carcassone—-that game is a blast (and accessible to non-gamer types as well). It's pretty abstract, and I tend to prefer games where the theme matches the mechanics more, but Carcassone plays so fast and is so much fun that I can overlook those complaints.
