lips and ribs: defending Portland's Mexican food since….2012

bbzttt…coolness circuits…overloading…hipometer needle buried….must…talk like this…

I like the Political Gabfest as well. It always feels like hanging out with a few funny and smart friends and shooting the political breeze.

I think "Kiss on my List" is the standout track. They also do a nice version of "Rich Girl" and and a smoothass cover of "I Can't Go for That".

I shall endorse the Bird and Bee's H&O cover album, "Interpreting the Masters" (okay, maybe the title is a little silly). It shows that those were some tight pop songs, re-imagined by B&B w/cool analog synth arrangements and laid back Astrud G.-type vocals. Really good album.

this "reposted youtube comments", it is not man, or woman. It is Nature itself

Tark, you fookin rock man

troutmask, I laughed my ass off

Oh I see. Is that a thing? People saying "tame impala"?

Yes! Something's Gonna Break Your Heart is beautiful…especially that pre-chorus

I like how everytime an AV Club writer mentions Dawes, they do it with a straight face (so to speak), with no acknowledgement of the commenters' obsession with the band.

Juanito, why do you say "TAME IMPALA"?

Capitol City sounds out of place on the album, and apprently it's because the song was written quite some time ago.

It's a good one. Reminiscent of one of my all time favorite scores, Psycho.

Yeah, I tuned out during that bit. Granted, it's a topic that doesn't interest me at all. But I do like the show; I feel like Steve, Julia, and Dana would be a blast to get drunk with.

Man I love that podcast. Eet ees not posseeble…..

nice to see you gents on the same page

Someone might've mentioned this, but I'm too lazy to check. Fountains of Wayne's "Road Song"

You've obviously never heard italicized album name.

I really like that movie. Especially when Cusack says he deals in modernism and Hitler says he'll call him if he ever poops diarrhea on a canvas (that Hitler!)
