If Coach wasn't a returning player being crammed down our throats as much as Brandon no one would remotely think he has a shot at winning.  His gameplay is from the same delusional handbook as Dreamz,Sugar and Russell. It's debateable how much control he is actually in if loyal goats of his are leaving 1 by 1.

A much simpler solution  is just to have tribe shuffles.  Seasons  with those tend to always interesting post merges.    Sure sometimes good players get screwed over but it almost always make for an entertaining game.

I guess the next few episodes will tell how good Sophie and Albert are playing . If they are sitting in the f3 with Coach I would say cockblocking Coach from dragging Edna or Cochran to the end are actually really good moves for them even if it makes for extremely predictable boots.    The out of nowhere f3 promise by…

Yeah. I remember Danni basically using her advantage she bought in the food auction  to switch places with Stephanie once Steph had a ton of spaces left and she was boxed in.

Probably because she was a recruit who had no idea what the show entailed, then once casted was not smart enough to watch past seasons.  Still though the chick afraid to go down the waterslide made for one of the coolest moments in the series history.

It's quite interesting Coach's edit this season.  It's hard to tell if he is viewed as the Puppetmaster like Boston Rob last season or if he someone everyone wants to  be sitting next to in the end  ala Russelll.

Why should Sophie mix things up for the sake of mixing them up?   Cochran was in Coach's pocket it clearly would not have benefited her game to keep him around.

I think this episode kind of ruled at Albert as a jury threat.

In the earlier seasons having someone pick who would go with them on reward challenges caused friction btwn alliances and kept things interesting. After a while though good players knew how to work around making any mistakes so it just became someone that took airtime away contestants.

What a perfect way to end this mostly boring season then have a dude like Ozzy winning , who was voted out twice and is awful at all the social and strategic aspects of this game ,

The Fiji jury excluding Yau was probably the biggest case of Meathead jock overload. With Rocky bullying the nerdy black guy and the 4 Horsemen alliance giving a bunch of sexist speeches to the invisible chick at FTC.
