Sometimes the MacGyver-nish of the show annoys me. Twice in this season alone, Mike and Walt have had the feasibility argument only for Jesse to naively come up with a plan through his own musings.

But that was an argument between Mike and Jesse, which Walt was noticeably staying out of. Obviously it would be difficult to put something in a vat of acid, but Mike knows that's it also possible to place a tracker in a much less obvious way, where doesn't really matter much.
