I'm sure they just didn't have the budget (or the time in the script to fit it in) but I'm a little surprised they didn't bring back a few old characters in this episode to help the cause.
I imagine (at least from what we're shown) that Cooper is one of the more respected patrol officers, and if he goes missing I bet

I hadn't even thought of that, @avclub-146bc30c345d31f3468fec764a1970e1:disqus , that's pretty clever actually.

The app would be genius if it worked, which in turn would make it profitable. But I know of no mobile OS in existence that lets you take over the phone capabilities.

So far this season it has been very clear to the viewer that Tammi is trying to provoke Sammy into doing something he'll regret that will cost him custody, and it frustrates the hell out of me that Sammy falls for it every time.

I'm okay with attaching numbers to it. The point is just to say that to get through LCK you have to cook good food and win, while the only hurdle to advancing in the normal competition is not being the worst.

I agree with @avclub-d12cfd57f077ca324ce6578da67b7592:disqus , I never once took Ilan for a villain of any type. Marcel's foams still give me nightmares.

I chalked his explanation up to trying to save face after he had calmed down, but that could have just been my head trying to force the PTSD theory based off his initial reaction.

Well, I think there's a difference between an editor of a blog saying that they would pay a freelancer for a story about doing cocaine and an editor assigning an employee the task of doing cocaine.

And having it go to Josh cracked me up. I'm just stereotyping here, but he looks like the kind of guy that switches between Bud Heavy and Jack and Coke's all night. He probably wouldn't know what to do with _a_ bottle of wine, let alone one for every day of the year.

1) It's in Seattle, not Portland.
2) The summer was actually decent last year, in the 70's and 80's for most of July and August. The house they were at was I think in Fauntleroy, and pretty close to the water, so it probably was a little cooler, but I doubt the food would have gotten too cold too quick.
3) I agree with

I'd normally completely agree with you, but we had one of the driest July's and _the_ driest August on record, and at one point in September we were up to 49 straight days without measurable precipitation.

I liked him a lot in season 3 but couldn't wait for him to go home this time around. His talent seemed to reside in his head and on his resume, because he definitely never showed it on the plate.

"[My] real problem with [all Seinfeld episodes] is that, once again, it’s a
loosely plotted affair with storylines that barely interact." - there, fixed that line for you.

*puts Cheetos bag down, takes sip from Big Gulp cup*

Judge Reinhold's comments (both here and the thread above) nail it. If you like it, you like it, if you don't, you don't. It's not for everybody but it does have its moments.

Yeah, that took my brain a minute to compute GLB != GLBT.

Body glitter? If only he had learned from seeing Tobias Funke's struggle with diamond dust…

"Maybe she was hoping Wesley would get sick and beam himself into the star."
I think we can safely blame all bad plots (as well as plotholes) in the first few seasons on this assessment. Even if Wesley isn't involved, it still seems like a reasonable motive.
