The Tonys are legit.

"Nothing on You" is actually a very good song.

No snark. Just a nice cover. Sounds like Joe Jackson.

Well thought out. I love cookies.

I hate being late to these threads because … you know, 655 discussions.

So it's my second week in a row of trying this show out (I watched last year, late, and kind of enjoyed it). Last week I had a couple problems, and they were rehashed again.

Let's think of new episode titles for the now gone second half of "Community":

George and Marsha Owens. You get a dad working in sportswriting, plus, hell, he's Bob Uecker. And mom is getting that bread when she goes into law. Plus you have an English butler who can barely walk.

Hey now.

Enjoyed this episode, though I agree that the Model UN blowup feels a little trite. Leslie is too put together to just use that venue as a private airing of laundry.

I think she's the most localized character on the show, and for that she can be pretty divisive. Certainly Carla-centric episodes are hit and miss thus far in my watching ("Tortelli Tort" is OK but "Truce or Consequences" is pretty solid), but she's not immediately likable. And again, I think part of that is because

"Sam at Eleven" is about him as an interview subject for one of those "Catching Up With …" segments. And it's next week! Huzzah!

What's shakin, Wax?
