Small Wonder

I loved their song "All For Love," but "I Swear" was a little too saccharine for my tastes.

Well the movie is about his time in the Cape Cod League. I think, though I don't remember correctly cause the movie sucks, in the end a Phils scout signs him and it's implied he shoots through the minors. And in his first appearance he gives up a homer to Griffey (on the Reds) and smiles about it. Ass.

As a Phillies fan all I have is frackin "Summer Catch." And that dolt Freddie Prinze Jr. gives up a homer to Griffey in his first appearance.

Chang is fine in small doses, as is the dean. But clearly the focus of the best episodes is solely on the study group. Chang has almost become the nutty neighbor who, on a poorly written show, would get too big for the series, the audience just hanging on his every entrance.

I feel like the point of Memory Wipe is lost the second she notes she hadn't seen Sandlot until later in life. Where's the memory?

I'll say it, since the "Sunny" review isn't up yet.

And I haven't been a huge "Community" booster. I certainly enjoy the show at times and DVR it each week. But I tend to think they overshoot a little too much sometimes.

I've seen tons of television in my life (yes, this is hyperbolic too), and I have to admit, this was one of the greatest sitcom episodes I've ever seen. Up there with "Chuckles Bites the Dust" and "The Contest." Might be the definitive "Community" episode when all is said and done. Just a really, really engrossing,

Yeah, I was snobby too as a kid. Hated "Power Rangers." And I was probably one or two years above it anyway.

Right, I did think that window shot of the ocean was odd. Mainly because no deadbeat Jersey shore motel sits right on the ocean.

I am.

Wait, so we're calling slowing down the video for a reaction shot CGI?

I might have to say this album did more for more people than any album in pop history. Just a genius of a man at the absolute height of his powers.

Oh, and nobody mentioned the theme song is Peter Bjorn and John's "Second Chance." Song from a "hipster" band (from Sweden, nonetheless) that has already been co-opted by Budweiser, the CBS of beers.

The pilot was meh. Very meh. Bland and somewhat unfunny, but I'll give it another shot. Kat Dennings is a strong lead.

And that was a nice callback to the Wildcard ("Gas Crisis") episode, if that was a callback at all. Charlie is great when he plays archetypes.

Charlie and Frank continues to be the finest dynamic in "Sunny's" arsenal. The boiling of denim was inspired. The best thing about the couple is that there's mystery ("Nightcrawlers," the bed situation). When the two got married in the season 6 opener it seemed off. But this story was nice.

1. If you get rid of laugh tracks, the garbage won't register with a lot
of people. So yes, it would rid the garbage. However, those people
won't tune in when something more highbrow appears. You need to have a
variety. Even when "Cheers" was in the top 5 you had "Who's the Boss,"
"Growing Pains," "The Golden Girls"

In all seriousness, at least in my experience, there's something oddly correct about the "live studio audience" in a sitcom.

This is all just an elaborate ruse to put a picture of Kat Dennings in a tight waitress outfit on the website! I see right through you, Todd.
