But do you watch it for the serious episodes though? I've been catching up on Adventure Time, it's a cool show and some of the serious episodes are amazing. But that's not the only hook for though, right? People also like brightly-coloured episodes about Finn and Jake doing fun low-consequence stuff.

Yeah, really like it. I'm enjoying hip-hop's MDMA phase.

Yeah, I think actually listening through to stuff or at least exercising some kind of volition in what you're playing is good for you, sometimes. I used to use shuffle to death on my iPod until I realised I'd gotten to the point where it had made me stop enjoying music. I'd skip up to a hundred songs at a time trying

I was pretty let down by the Arcade Fire cover. Like you say it sounds made for them, but it seems like Gabriel had a lot of trouble locking down a bunch of the bands who featured.

Why on earth did you go to the concert?

She's actually a great anchor for the BBC's annual festival coverage because she does genuinely seem to enjoy music.

Yup, ouch.

Heard it now, and initially I was set to come on here with the dread phrase "Raditude by Weezer", but I was kind of digging it by the end of the album, and I'm having fun on the second play. It's not Change or Emergency & I, but it's definitely got some charm.

After passing up what turned out to be Dismemberment Plan's last London show to see Mogwai, am super-glad they're back recording and touring ,at least for a little while.

He really does not sound like a nice guy. Hard to blame him given how he seems to be in painstakingly-documented freefall, but yeesh.

This is the day the music died.

Why did it have to be Buzzfeed? Chaos reigns.

Initiation would be super-uncomfortable.

So is the only way for this to not be "you took the bait trololol" would have been for Mohd to post it up and then no one reply to it?

Pandering's a bit of a red flag for me when people are discussing tv and movies. Pandering to who? Sci-fi buffs? Fans of comedies that send up genre fiction? Is it more pandering than Hot Fuzz in that sense?

That's it, it's a wonderful film. All that time filming Spaced episodes three times over so he could inject all those little bits of Hollywood cinematic language into a stoner sitcom going to create the only comic book movie that feels anything like a comic book.

I think you could take Obama out of some of those extracts entirely and they'd still be pretty objectionable.
