Yeah, it started off more "lol christians" and morphed into something much darker later on, more about his parents' repression and the rage underlying that. I think some of the stuff in Blue Jam/jaaaaaaaaaam may have been darker tv, but I can't think of much else.

It was ludicrously uncomfortable. The episode with the camping trip was like Happiness in stop-motion animation. In a good way, but I can see how it might not have been an audience favourite.

I sort of get it. It maybe suffers from being surrounded by much more extreme viewpoints in this piece, but I understand that feeling of reading something from someone you think is pretty okay, and they say something off-putting and it feels like a let-down.

Man, Superchunk was such a shame for me. I was really looking forward to people dancing and it being a really fun show, but it was an older crowd and pretty sedate, which made the whole thing fail to connect for me.
