I think Explosions are way, way waaaay more formulaic than gy!be. and Mono are way more formulaic than Explosions. They do tend to fit the pretty quiet bit - tension-building bit - loud bit- Louder Bit - LOUDEST BIT - sparkly outro thing into 5-7 minutes though, I guess.
