Favourite utterly inexplicable bits from xXx:
SAMUEL L JACKSON'S CHARACTER WAS CALLED AUGUSTUS GIBBONS!
xXx - the xXxening
He damn sure better return for that.
The first episode that had a weird/off feel for me was the episode where the Simpsons go to New York, but I think the episode where Homer becomes the sanitation commissioner is where the rot properly started to set in.
Also, do all the secondary school students really have Cascada on their iPods? I thought only 32 year old estate agents listened to eurotrance these days.
How dare you, Pass Out is amazing.
Well
I think we've all learned an important lesson about tolerance today.
Don't really get the "Rabin's a writer, he makes upwards of 24 grand a year so he deserves to get told how he should fuck off because I didn't like this article"
1. THOU SHALT ALWAYS WEAR TWEED. No other fabric says so defiantly: I am a man of panache, savoir-faire and devil-may-care, and I will not be served Continental lager beer under any circumstances.

Her dad was a Tamil revolutionary who trained with the PLO, but I'm not sure if she has any direct links with the tigers.
On books of failed enterprises
I came across a book by Joe Queenan in a second hand bookstore in Belgium called The Unkindest Cut, which is well worth checking out if you can find it anywhere.
