Now if you can just teach your crew to sing Yackety Sax you'll be in business.

You have to admit, "From hell's heart I stab at thee" would make a way better Assassin motto than that "Nothing is true…" nonsense.

This Week in Libertalia: Having found the lost city du jour in Uncharted 4, I'm relieved to find that this time it won't be Drake and his antagonists destroying it, as it's already kind of an underwhelming shithole. I mean, it's impressive that it got built at all, but time has not been kind. Even the treasures lying

It's not that the segments are bad, really, they're just identical. Every Animaniacs segment has its formula, but Katie Kaboom is almost exactly the same every time. Only the inciting incident and monster design change, and not by much. For some reason, they tend to have the worst animation too.

On that day, 2pm to 10pm. It's the late shift.

Sure, it's not like they have really complex narratives, but you might miss some of the emotional beats if you come in cold. All you really need to know going in is that the protagonist, Nathan Drake, has spent most of his life trekking around the world trying to find (and steal) ancient treasure and mixing it up with

And with good reason!

I'm almost at the end of Don Quixote. Man, I had not realized how much he and Sancho Panza get their asses beat in this book. Granted, Quixote brings most of it on himself with his crazy antics, but still, ouch. The back half is mostly a duke and duchess playing a series of amazingly elaborate mind games on them for

I'm midway through the second volume of Animaniacs, and man has it ramped up the anarchic wit. The characters and premises are so well established that they can play a lot more with their formulas, and the creativity and sheer lack of concern with what kids can be expected to understand is beautiful. Particular

Fuck yeah, Psychonauts! Not only is it a great game with a imaginative premise and level design, fantastic characters, and hilarious writing, it's a game wherein the player defeats their enemies by helping them with their psychological problems. It might as well be titled Action Therapist and that's awesome. I can't

I lined up a new proofreading client last week, and they already sent me a project! Plus, next week I'm going on my mini-vacation back home to California. It's a bit of a busman's holiday, as I'll be spending some of it networking at a company I'd like to join, but I'm perfectly happy with that. I can't wait.

Dang, I'll be working that evening, otherwise I'd swing by and say hello.

If they're actually adapting the book The Voyages of Doctor Doolittle, then they have my attention. It was a favorite of mine growing up, and arguably better than the first book in the series. Doc takes off to visit a colleague of his, a Native American naturalist who's gone missing on a mysterious floating island.

Mine was nice and relaxing. I worked my regular shift and spent the rest of the time playing video games and planning my upcoming trip.

In the New York Times article on this subject, Dan Stevens was misidentified as Dan Harmon. Hilarity ensued, at least for me.

It can be two things!

Latveria delenda est!

I don't know, I for one would be very interested in stories about President Benjamin J. Grimm.

God damn, that show is messed up.

The producers of Criminal Minds are on line one.
