The movie theatre there has been there forever now, but yeah, they've been trying with that mall with the bowling alley that opened up in the recent past. It's still depressing as hell though; I hated it when I was growing up and I still try to actively avoid it when I'm in town.

I don't understand all the hate for season 6 and 7. If people really rewatch those seasons, they'll see far more good episodes than bad episodes. And season 7 had all that momentum once Holly came back in Classy Christmas and it was EXCELLENT through Michael's exit.

I had to shut off my TV immediately bc a) it was fucking weird and b) I'm behind on Hannibal

Season 2 and 3 compete pretty closely for best season of The Office, but season 2 is probably my favorite television season of anything. Watching (half of) that season live is an experience I wish I could repeat. Without knowing how anything would turn out…oh man. Perfect Television.

No one will defend that season. But I just rewatched it in its entirety and there are still a few good (not great) episodes in there.

The fifth season is EXCELLENT. But I don't know if I can trust anyone who doesn't list the second or third season as the show's prime.

Confirmed: Spencer Daniels, played Meredith's son in season 2. Same actor stripping last night.

anyone who still feels the need to shit on this show is a thief of joy and can suck it

I'm in love with this comment.

You are a thief of joy.

100% there with you on Creed's line. I thought that was brilliant. And I thought it was gonna END there and I almost wish him being arrested was the last shot, too.

Seeing Dakota Johnson just made me realize how much I miss Ben and Kate.

Honestly, the pacing seemed a little off last night, but I thought without the commercials, I'd enjoy it more. And oops, already rewatched it and loved it.

Upon seeing Meredith's house, "This reminds me of Katrina."

Can we talk about how the stripper featured in the promo is the SAME stripper in Ben Franklin?

you are the silent killer

Nah. I just like knowing that there's this weird old man who likes stealing things and eats at soup kitchens just sits around at Dunder Mifflin. I don't need more.

My guess is that if Michael does, in fact, show up in the finale, it'll only be via phone call/video chat/pre-recorded message or something really small.

The Dwight/Angela love story has been SO inconsistent in the past few seasons, but Rainn Wilson and Angela Kinsey totally sold it in these last few episodes that I found myself rooting for them again.

I agree, season 8 had a few really enjoyable episodes despite the overall quality of the season. Nothing near the quality of the show at its prime, obviously, but it wasn't like the whole season was unwatchable.
