Ok, tonight I will officially abandon my obsession with Molly "breaking bad." Good things come to those who wait, and all that.

Ok, I can see that, though I'm still half convinced that Bill just wants the whole thing to be over and therefore wouldn't go for that, either. Your point is well taken, though.

Can you really see a way that she could have convinced Bill, though? Outside of not getting shot and giving the whole case to him with a bow around it, that is.

Oh sure. I definitely cracked a smile when when he got the Hess boys with the stapler (their whole purpose on the show seems to be to be injured, anyway). Having said that it plays differently than, say, Walter White blowing up that asshole's car did precisely because of the context we've been given.

Also I almost cried just seeing the look of despair on Molly's face when Bill shut her down yet again early in the episode.

As the season goes on I'm finding myself appreciating the way Lester is written more and more. It would have been very easy for a lot of what he does to end up playing as an empowerment fantasy, but Hawley poisoned the well against him so effectively and so early that even when he does things that we might otherwise

This may be just because I'm now desperate for Lou (read: Keith Carradine) to get caught up in this mess, but I'm still stuck on the idea that hit me during "The Six Ungraspables" that Molly's going to get caught up more in this and/or compromised in some way in order to make the collar. I mean maybe she'll find a way

Ok, I could get behind that theory. I think the other thing that made this stick out to me is that the way she's pushing up against / crossing the line here differentiates her from Marge Gunderson in a way that feels pretty significant.

Got to this episode late tonight so I don't have time to go back and review, but…

Bates has to have killed his wife, right? Otherwise what's the point of this all?

The only thing I've hate-watched in recent memory was "Smash." I think a better sports analogy for how I watched that would be that it's like going to your team's game and booing them when they're awful. Deep down you're rooting for the team/show to succeed but when it doesn't you need to do something to justify

The musical cue before the famous Psycho strings is also one of the themes from Psycho.  I really want to like (or at least ironically enjoy) this show, but the shameless overuse of Bernard Herrmann cues is killing me.

I never thought I'd say this but…
I'd totally watch another season of "Big Love" if they'd cut the epilogue. "My Three Moms" would be an awesome show.
