so
over the past few weeks i saw the first three seasons of venture bros.

thing is i can totally understand the "joyless" argument on neon bible or the suburbs

Your name is "Arcade Fire Extinguisher."

…you havin' a laugh??

1. Community
2. Parks And Recreation (Do I get to use that?)
3. 30 Rock
4. American Dad
5. How I Met Your Mother

I'd say it hasn't surpassed season two of 30 Rock or seasons two and three of The Office, but it is definitely in that same range. About equal.

I understand that you miss the monkey, but its name is actually "Annie's Boobs."

They're playing "The Macarena" again?

Watch it. For the love of GOD watch it.

So yeah.
This is in serious "maybe the best sitcom ever" territory right now.

I'm thinking it deserves a best directing, too.

Yeah, because "Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)" is totally joyless.

Just curious, what's grating about it?

I loved my bike too much to do it, even though I always really wanted to.

Honestly, when that end note was sounding I was begging the video to burst into "Ready To Start" and the rest of the album.

If Community doesn't get a bunch of Emmy nods a la 30 Rock, that will be the most disappointing shit ever.

"Hot footing" isn't a phrase used in the song, but I do know what you mean. "In the parking lot, we're still waiting" is in there, too.

"The Suburbs" is definitely a song that I like, but compared to some of the best Arcade Fire, it seems kind of forgettable even though it kind of soundtracks its subject pretty well (try biking through suburbia on a sunny day to this, it's kind of perfect).

Incidentally, I was going to make the AD comparison in my original post, but I figured that might be reaching.

Jeeze.
This is kind of incredible.
