Other funny Pitchfork flops: PJ Harvey's Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea gets a five point something, Moby's Play gets a five point something, and Sonic Youth's NYC Ghosts & Flowers gets a 0.0.

fuck, redundancy in that last sentence
Mr. Brightside and All These Things That I've Done were my fucking life in 2007, even if I was a bit late to that whole Hot Fuss party. The album isn't remarkable by any means, but it's proof that they had some kind of talent.
Oddly enough, I might have stuck with it because of Brother Sport, if anything.
I decided to listen to Sung Tongs after I realized that a song used in one of David Firth's movies, The Child That Smelt Funny, was Winters Love. Sort of helped me warm up to the whole business, but what kept me hanging onto Animal Collective was my gradually increasing feelings towards Merriweather Post Pavilion.
fuck
just, fuck
Hell yes.
The Hold Steady is my favorite band of this nearly-over decade, so I like to listen to where Craig was at before that. Fiestas + Fiascos is somewhere near the bottom of my top 100 of the decade list.
Well I was really hating Animal Collective at first.
And I still think they're overrated, but damn it if I wake up to a sunny campus and Graze blaring through my headphones isn't just fucking delightful.
Funny story, at The Clash show where Shane MacGowan got his ear bitten or some shit, Mick Jones saw someone come up onstage and he's all thinking "Man, I'm gonna have to kick this guy off". It turned out to be Patti Smith.
When you're listening to Marquee Moon, check out the bass along with the guitars. Fred Smith was a sick bassist. One of my very favorites.
There are nights when I think that Sal Paradise was right.
I just freeleeched Marquee Moon and made a killing that way upped my ratio. You're out of your league, Juanito.
I should picture different commenters as various celebrities. Mongo can be Seth Rogen, ZMF can be Bill O'Reilly, and Tom Waits can be Bob Dylan.
Let It Bleed is not superior. At all. Go die.
Revenge Of The Sith is relatively bearable because Jar Jar Binks shuts the fuck up and the action is actually pretty cool. Just…don't let the characters talk. Seriously, cut out all dialogue and the movie is pretty cool.
There's been a lot written about them, yes, but I'd love to hear stuff written about them by people who somehow completely missed them.
I called The Red Album relatively bearable. RELATIVELY. Raditude is like if they made another Star Wars written and directed by George Lucas.
That's right, Layla is the best album ever. What of it?
The next three are like the prequels: Enormously disappointing, absolutely awful, relatively bearable but still awful.
If anyone at AV Club has not heard the following albums, write a column.
Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs - Derek And The Dominos
London Calling - The Clash
Exile On Main St. - The Rolling Stones
Marquee Moon - Television
Let It Be - The Replacements
