Whenever I see the phrase, "went home with an idol in his pocket," all I can think of is, "Are you just happy to see me, or is that an idol in your pocket because you're a fucking idiot?"

Damn, that was so sweet and helped to take some of the sting away. I hope #TripLives catches on, because it felt like there was so much more they could've done with his character.
Well, we are getting James Spader in Age of Ultron. I feel like we're long overdue for a female villain, though. What's Molly Ringwald been up to lately?
Flash has surprisingly good CGI and I imagine they only have a fraction of AoS's budget. I guess the difference is they don't spend their money on invisible planes every single episode.
I think the production code (which started with 3G) suggested that it was in production in between seasons 7 (3F) and 8 (4F). I never got around to getting the season 9 DVDs, but they might discuss it more in the commentary there.
Yeah, people use that as an example of Season 9 still being decent, but it's a holdover from Season 7, so it has that classic feel and tone for a reason.
Apparently it was mentioned on the DVD commentary, but the Simpsons wiki says he did "most" of it, not all.
I've been reading up on it and it seems like they somehow excised even more of the Disneyfied elements than the Lapine version. No gargoyles, which means no "A Guy Like You" (yay!), but it looks like it's missing "City Under Siege" (boo!).
Didn't "Grease: You're the One That I Want!" air on NBC? It would've been interesting if the winners of that show performed on a "Grease Live!" at the end of the season.
I'm not familiar with the musical at all, so the lack of recognizable songs made me lose interest. And without an audience to react, some parts just fell flat.
I haven't watched Broadchurch, but the verbal clue has to be either "How could you not know?" or "What do you even do?" The former sounds like something that could be used against Ellie, and I'd kind of love it if Susan came back to snidely ask her the same question. The latter seems like a setup for a possible motive.
To be fair, this week we found out about Tripp's delicious abs and Mack's bulging pecs (though we've known about those for a while) which is more than enough development for me.
The ratings were up quite a bit this week, with total viewers breaking 5 million for the first time since this season's second episode. It could be because of the holiday special lead-ins or the fact that NCIS was a repeat, but I'm hoping it's because the positive buzz is finally catching up to the show.
The music box was playing "Daisy Bell (Bicycle Built for Two)." As noted on Wikipedia, the song is well known for the lyrics, "Daisy, Daisy / Give me your answer, do. / I'm half crazy / all for the love of you"
Reed: Now when I say "I think you have an idol" and press down on your foot, you smile and act nonchalant.
It's not as simple as saying there is or isn't a gay gene. The
gene(s) that influence homosexuality may be present in both twins, but
only expressed in one because of any number of environmental factors. Or
perhaps the genes that influence sexuality mutated after the zygote split.
It was one of their earlier big-name licensed games, and was criticized for being a barely interactive movie. As a game it's not much fun, but the story is serviceable (although 7-year-old you probably came up with something far more interesting).
That was actually a key plot point in the Jurassic Park video game developed by Telltale games.
You have to be very careful, because when you talk that way about identical twins, you might make it sound like, "Well, that proves that homosexuality is a choice, because otherwise both twins would be gay."
