Simpsons Band lineups:
I feel like this is the third or fourth band that Homer has joined. Why not let Marge or Lisa join a band for a change?
I've never seen you before neither.
It was posted on time (for a change), but couldn't be seen on the main page for some reason. You had to go to www.avclub.com/tvclub/ to see it.
"Why me, Lord? Where have I gone wrong? I've always been nice to people. I don't drink or dance or swear. I've even kept Kosher just to be on the safe side. I've done everything the bible says, even the stuff that contradicts the other stuff. What more could I do? I feel like I'm coming apart here.”
Ah, good point about the Save not getting used up last time, but it still leaves me wondering what happens if the Dentists do end up using the Save next week.
Great feature! I only just discovered that The Infosphere has Futurama commentary transcripts or recaps, and I was wondering why something similar didn't exist for The Simpsons. Or maybe it does and I just haven't found it?
Kent Brockman: And the weather service has warned us to brace ourselves for the onslaught of Hurricane Barbara. And if you think naming a destructive storm after a woman is sexist, you obviously have never seen the gals grabbing for items at a clearance sale.

Ah, it's been a while since I watched and I didn't realize the first act was so detached from the rest. I actually think it's a testament to the brilliance of Single Female Lawyer that I thought the entire episode centered on it.
I still like Robbie, admittedly mostly because he's hot, but I also like that he calls Brooke out on her whininess. And even then I don't think Brooke is that bad. At least she gets shit done eventually, unlike Flo.
I wonder if the Save takes the place of a third non-elimination if it's used? If the Dentists are forced to use it next week, and then there's another non-elim before the final leg, that would leave 4 people in the finals.
I think I'm in the minority that wasn't overly fond of the Wan episodes, gorgeous as the animation was. They were basically a massive retconning of things established in the original series, and reduced the Avatar to a gullible fool who doesn't ask questions before intervening in conflicts.
Welp, there go my hopes of a Korra musical recap episode.
Yup, I noticed that, too. His reaction to the skateboard seemed so visceral. And at first I thought he was the worst father in the world (well, second, after Mark) for not noticing his son was outside late at night destroying his computer, but the fact that Tom didn't know for sure where his dad was could mean he was…
I really hope they're going with a double bluff, because they spend so little time focusing on certain suspects that it just makes me suspect them all the more. Some of the characters are just so cartoonishly creepy that it's obvious they're red herrings.
Susan gives Tom the skateboard (which his dad promptly tells him to drop), then leaves to meet with the newspaper editor before Tom's dad can confront her. The newspaper editor tells Susan she found out about her past (divorced, kids), and the detectives come to arrest her. Meanwhile, Vince steals her dog and almost…
Xena aside, I'm glad they're not killing off characters for shock value like they did far too often in the first season (something Flash is also guilty of right now). They actually defied my expectations three times in one episode by keeping both Trip and Bakshi alive, and not having Ward throw his brother down the…
Ha…Ho?
