My favorite Library of Congress study has to be Bon Jovi vs.Ugly Kid Joe.

And the list of great Aerosmith songs on this thread keeps growing…

I totally agree.  I grew up in the Midwest, and that song was like the new Stairway or something.  Styx is the worst.  Shittiest guitar players ever.

Yeah, take your knee-jerk conservative commentary somehwere else.  Dumbass.

With the smile, I hope.

Last month MBV said it would be out in the Spring.

Get Your Wings and Rocks are just as good, too.

You said it brother!  Bryan Adams was the phoniest, most overproduced balladeer-diguised-as-a-rocker I ever heard.  In the summer of '69 he would have been 10 years old. That always drove me crazy.

R.E.M was so drunk when they made that.

Man, I hate Pavement.  Going throught the 90s with every Trustafarian telling me how awesome they are.  Just like Dinosaur Jr.  Good music, but two of the shittiest, laziest vocalists ever. Oh, I get it, it's SUPPOSED to be lazy and ironic.  Really? Fuck you!

Not top 40,  but Albini would have quite a bit to say about Animal Collective.  Interestingly, he loves old Aerosmith.

Let's not start going off on good songs that we've all just heard ad nauseum.   Paranoid Android?  C'mon.  I mean it's still a good song regardless if you're sick of it.

I'd like to victomize Steven Tyler with a drive-by fruiting.

It is a puzzlement why he picks on Aerosmith.  He certainly knows his rock history..  I sense that Matt just hates Steven Tyler; and the band suffers by association.  Yes, yes, not post-1976 Aerosmith!  We all get that sucks.

I want a bong called Stonebringer!

And who was the greatest influence on GnR?   wait for it….Aerosmith!

Bebe Buell was indeed a "filthy groupie", but the most famous one . "Livin' Lovin' Maid" by Led Zeppelin was written about her.  So, there's that.

"No More, No More" is also a great song, and has the one of the best guitar solos in rock history. See? The list keeps growing.
