I disagree though. When I saw Juno I didn't know anything about Diablo Cody - I didn't know her name for chris'sakes, but I thought the movie's writing was irritating. maybe everyone else escaped the torch because the movie was directed well and the actors were all good, but the script was grating?

Do they address the complete lack of any metal albums?
Because dammit, the new Sigh and Ehnahre albums are my favorite albums of the year. I was really disappointed that music journalists, of all people, don't have broad enough tastes to recognize how great the year has been for metal.

This really has affected my opinion of the AV club.
I had suspected you guys of pulling the press kit bullshit on us before but now I have proof. Glad to see he's getting fired.

Also every great metal album that came out this year. I was mistaken in hoping that music journalists, of all people, would at least acknowledge the great year us metalheads have had. It's disappointing knowing that all of the music I loved the most this year wasn't even worth a mention by this website.

I'm watching the episodes side by side with Zack as well…
but unlike most of you guys, this is my first time ever seeing TNG. I've seen the first season of TOS which was enough to convince me I was born a Star Trek fan and now I'm going to make it through this one.
