Don't worry.  I thought he was Oscar from The Office when I first saw it.  It's hard to see Ortiz as anyone except Turo Escalante.  I can't get used to him not speaking with an uncomprehendable Peruvian accent.

Sinclair- True, but what made his acting bad was that he was trying too hard to act like a meathead asshole when it just should come naturally to him.  When Courtney Love played a drug addict whore in "Larry Flint", she just acted like she does on a daily basis.

It looks like he was trying to branch out with his role in "It's Kind of a Funny Story" but the movie was so bland and formulatic that he really did not have any material to work with.  His role seemed as if it was written for Robin Williams 15 years ago.

He was also surprisingly decent in "Constantine".

His scenes in "The Departed" would be unwatchable if they weren't so unintentionally funny.
