'Sword'.
'Sword'.
Pleasantly surprised to see Guy Gavriel Kay in this list. I recently read his 'Tigana' and enjoyed it very much. It's not quite in the same league as A Song of Ice and Fire, but it's pretty good nonetheless: several grey characters, lots of worldbuilding and a bittersweet ending.
Weirdly enough, Matthew's story in this episode had some strange parallels to Max Adler's character's on Glee. In both cases, a guy who is bullying/harassing another guy turns out to be gay and has a crush on that guy.
I was kind of flabbergasted to see John being so very mature and supportive about his daughter's sex life. John can be a pretty great dad when he's not being an asshole.
Lol at the last bit.
"Let's give Daphne some alone time, alright show?"
It's literally Chekhov's gun: If a gun is shown in the second episode of
a (half-)season, it must go off by the end of that season.Regina and/or Wes definitely gonna shoot somebody.
It's in Book 4. But so far, they've attacked only the coastal areas and some islands off the coast, and threatened Oldtown. The people in the interior are pretty safe - and there's a lot of interior in the Reach: it's the second biggest region of the Seven Kingdoms (the biggest being the North).
I agree - why did the Principal need Emmett's confirmation when Matthew had been posting texts all over the school? In fact, shouldn't the Principal at least have inquired about those texts, whether or not Melody and Emmett came to her with their story?
Hot Pie is not at the Inn at the Crossroads - at least not in the books. It's some smaller random inn.
Is there a handy Red Priest/Priestess nearby who can bring you back to life?
So basically, live on a small iceberg somewhere off the coast of Skagos?
People living in the middle of nowhere in the Vale, the Reach and Dorne are pretty safe (so far). War hasn't touched these regions; they've had time and manpower to store food for winter; and Dorne in any case probably isn't too badly affected by winter.
The criminal charges weren't because she 'brought down an office-abusing sexual-harassing slimeball' - they were because she blackmailed him in the process. If she had simply revealed his sleazy ways on a blog, she wouldn't have been criminally liable.
Oh please, as if Emmett wouldn't come running back to Bay if she so much as crooked her little finger at him.
I hope I'm wrong too - I like Kevan as well, and that's a good point you make about Varys. However, Kevan hasn't been seen or mentioned on the show since season 2, and even when he was there, he was such a background character that he might as well have not been there. Still, the show has a good opportunity to…
He must have. Whether or not Brienne's ever seen the Hound, she'd at least be suspicious if she saw a large guy with a half-burnt face. Besides, Poderick has definitely seen the Hound - he would recognise him if they met face to face.
She'll keep Nearly Headless Nick company while they try and fail to get into the Headless Hunt.
Nothing in the books has happened that requires Rickon Stark to exist, yet he exists nonetheless, and given that he's a Stark, he'll probably have some important influence on the endgame, even if it is only indirectly. The same could be said of Lady Stoneheart.
Nah, Littlefinger is Sansa's to kill.
