Agreed a thousand times.
Agreed a thousand times.
John was using up the dick-quotient for the episode. ;)
Oh yes, I totally ship Bay and Natalie too (Batalie?), but that's purely in my imagination. It would be kind of ridiculous on screen.
I agree - the constant rotation of boyfriends/prospective boyfriends for both the female leads is really tiresome. Why don't either of these girls have platonic friends, male or female? (Well, except Emmett, who's always there for either of them). The budding friendship between Bay and Natalie in the second season…
Constance Marie does have genuine injuries due to signing too much for the show - see this interview with her: http://www.sefijaonline.com…
And rejoice over the lack of Angelo.
I didn't mean that it was unrealistic, just that it's the same kind of job as in this list. Real people do have such jobs, but they're overrepresented in rom-coms - and WAY over-represented in HIMYM.
I actually used to work in an independent bookstore that could easily have been called 'charming' or 'quaint'. The work was pretty much the same as in any other retail job (with the perk of being able to read whatever you want when there are no customers around). And the owner of the store was about as far from a…
And it doesn't get more incoherent than the idea that a malicious woman would kill herself in order to make her ex-husband suffer, rather than just killing him or maybe his girlfriend.
Apart from being a musician as a hobby (a pretty successful hobby, that too), The Mother also 'wants to end poverty', so she presumably works in some charity/non-profit organization.
The first thing I thought of on seeing the first two items on this list was Ted and Victoria from HIMYM. I'm surprised they weren't mentioned.
I'm no architect, but that silly scene made me froth at the mouth too. Couldn't the writers at least google 'what do architects do?' before writing that scene?
I can easily imagine a valet-less Robert unable to leave his room because he can't figure out how to tie his shoes.
Jack should have been hanging off the side of the boat by the end of that scene … while Rose doesn't notice he's drowning, because she's too busy trying to do the 'I'm flying' scene on a rowboat.
Rosamund was more maternal towards Edith in this episode than Cora probably has been in Edith's entire lifetime.
YMMV … I don't see it that way at all.
Yes, I get the difference … but frankly, IMO, it's splitting hairs at this point. The only reason Sheldon initiated the kiss was a childish tantrum. Not exactly a growth moment for him. Yeah he liked it - but he liked it the first time around too (he called it 'fascinating').
So apparently I'm the only one who didn't think the kiss was a big deal. They've kissed before - seasons ago. I predict that the next time they kiss will be seasons later. That's the pace that the Sheldon-Amy relationship moves at, and I've lost all patience over it. DTMFA, Amy.
Ye gads, Lois Sadler was an idiot right from the beginning, wasn't she? I remember her mainly from
I guess that's more a product of how TV works rather than a reflection of Don's personality. Watching a guy come up with an idea isn't exactly compelling TV. But watching him dazzle clients is.
