No way. They'll figure out how to work it in. The audience will love it, and the writers know it.

Yup. I told my wife last night that I was more shocked last night than when Joff died. Why? Before I knew it was coming. I was floored when Bran ended up at Craster's.
I agree. I said in another post that I hope they don't just make Bran leave Craster's before Jon gets there, because it'll totally seem like filler for Bran. I also LOVED the white walker ending. Very cool.
Well, you just answered my question from the above post. I knew they didn't meet in the books, and I knew that Bran never went to Craster's. This is one of the biggest changes from the books, I sure hope they do something with it. I'm just worried that they are going to move Bran before Jon gets there, thus completing…
Okay, so I really enjoy these reviews but I'm shocked that the writer didn't touch much on the Bran story. Unless my memory is shot, I'm almost positive that Bran did not happen upon Craster's in the book. I sure as hell don't recall Bran running Jon, which could happen last week outside of when Bran wargs into Summer…
I read it differently. First of all, the show has been trying to portray Jamie as a sympathetic character, which is why we had that brilliant bath scene last year when he divulged everything to Brienne about the Mad King. He then saved Brienne from the bear. Then he returns to Kings Landing a changed man. So, why have…
SPOILER ALERT: ASOS
I have to say, I am a book reader and even though I enjoyed them immensely I've been ever spoiled from enjoying the show. It kind of sucks when you know something is coming. Hope everyone is enjoying the show!
In season 1/book 1, Arya chases her direwolf away in fear that the Lannisters would have it killed after it attacked Joffrey by the lake.
I thought it was going to be Shae as well, but two things swayed me from that: 1, she is jealous of Sansa being married to Tyrion even though she denies it. 2, she sees through Littlefinger and probably wouldn't want to help him in any way.
I thought his intro was a letdown big time. It was just HBO's excuse for another porn scene.
I couldn't agree more. I've heard a lot of people praising the new guy, which I really don't get. Daario is supposed to be really charming and good looking. The new guy is bland and scruffy looking.
See my post from the above thread.
I was thinking that, but I still believe that it'll be the hairnet. I think Dontos won't have much to do with the Purple Wedding events other than getting Sansa out.
I agree that my interpretation of the final episode would involve Stoneheart. This show hasn't been afraid to change up the timeline, e.g., Jamie returning to King's Landing before the Purple Wedding, so I'm still hopeful that the season ends with Stoneheart. The other thing I considered is Littlefinger pushing Lysa…
Yes. Jamie is gone before Cersei gets locked up. She's basically on her own while he's gone.
Exactly. Last season I was stunned to see him show up at King's Landing before Joffrey bit it. That made his return in the book so much more powerful and compelling, as King's Landing is literally in disarray. The T.V. show he returns with King's Landing in a state of rebuilding and new found glory… so, why is…
I'm happy they brought him in. I was wondering how they would pull that off.
No way they cut that out. I think it'll literally be the epilogue to the season, sort of like the Others at the end of season 2.
I thought this was the best opener. The only issue is that I think they're trying a bit too hard to convince us that Jamie is now an outcast. It happens more subtly in the books, but I guess that's what happens when you cram a huge book into a T.V. show.
