TV Club classic.
This seems as good a place as anywhere to ask when T.V club classis will get around to doing write ups of Flying Circus. It seems long over due. I would nominate Leonard Pierce to write them, as I felt he did a pretty good job with Mr. Show.

Yeah, the tone was due mainly to the dan electro, My Dad has one and that's pretty much how they sound. Of course Sonny's not exactly a great guitar player either, which doesn't help.
I thought they actually did a pretty good job of showing the band have something of an off night, while not making them play so badly

As long as we're talking PKD, What's the drug in "Flow my tears?" that Buckman's twin sister/lover takes (can't remember her name at the moment). It can actually change other people's perceptions of reality than the takers. It also kills her though.
Chew Z probably has the best slogan, something along the lines of

I believe he was giving the season an A and the episode an A-. Point still stands that it's a high grade for not that great an episode.

Maron resents everyone whose more successful than him, or who he perceives as being more successful than him, which seems to be most comedians.

Downey and Harrelson were fantastic. Reeves was competent enough to not ruin the movie. I reread the book shortly after seeing the film, and found myself picturing Downey and Harrelson in my head as I read, but did not find myself picturing Reeves as Arctor. I also didn't picture Winona Ryder as Donna, but I think

I was all by myself
"the tentpole albums Dookie and American Idiot are available in their entireties."
Does this mean the hidden track from Dookie is included?

Am I the only one who read that scene as, Sunny really saved the guy but he doesn't acknowledge the guy because he is A) Preoccupied with trying to score, B) knows on some level what a douche bag junkie he's become and feels uncomfortable being called a hero because of it.

Beloit College's Mindset List
As a Beloit alum, I've read a few of the mindset lists. I think sometimes they kind of overemphasize the generation gap. I remember there were some things that didn't feel true about my generation when I read the one for my year. Plus the professor that writes them is kind of a douche bag.

Momentary Lapse of Reason is by far their worst album, Devision Bell is second, then The Final Cut, everything else they did was great (except for that song with the dog howling off Meddle, I think, I'll wait for someone to tell me if I'm wrong rather than look it up).

Why huh? I've never listened to the thing (or watched or read it), but I imagine that if I ever did I would either be laughing at the stupidity of it, or laughing to hold back tears of how fucked we are that some people out there takes Glen Beck seriously.

Sorry for the double post

Wasn't the whole point of the sketch how stupid Ali G was for not understanding the difference between homosapiens and homosexuals. Its been a while since I've seen it but remember it being pretty funny and more at the expense of the character than the scientist. Generally enjoyed all of Da Ali G show that I saw, the

If I spell it " macadudes" am I legally in the clear. It's possibly the worst name for a product ever, so it should make money, right?

I realize no one will read this, as it's a months old article, but just wanted to add that I've been watching Buffy all the way through for the first time, I watched the occasional episode when it was on the air. This was one of the first I caught that made me think I'd want to check out the show. I was really

Does this mean the back catalog won't bte available as easily, they haven't put out anything that great in the last couple years (at least not that I'm aware of) but I'll second all the people saying "the Cold Vein" is one of the greatest albums of all time. I'd already given up hope on their ever being a follow up,

I think the most accurate fictional computer from the 70's was Eddie from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, computers still don't talk like Eddie, but they can be annoying and not do what they're supposed to a lot.

McNulty
I remeber having a similar problem with McNulty in the first few episodes as Rabin had when I first watched it. I had heard a lot of the best show of all time hype and he seemed a bit too much like a standard cop show character. When I watched the entire series for a second time I didn't have the same problem

How awful do you think the upcoming Steven Tyler solo album will be?
I bet it'll be worse than any Aerosmith album, and I've never really liked Aerosmith, what do you, last Chris Cornnel solo album bad, or just latter day Rod Stewart bad?

The door at the end opened by itself
There's a youtube interview with McGoohan where he talks some about the last episode. One thing he makes a big deal of is when the butler goes into six's apartment at the end the door opens automatically, as the doors in the village do, implying six isn't really free. Just thought
