My daytime game shows included terrible Canadian ones like Acting Crazy (just charades with Canadian "celebrity" guests) and Bumper Stumpers. They filled the time until actual shows came on.

I'm pretty sure I knew how good I had it those summers, even while being bored watching game shows and 70s detective shows on A&E (some Rockford Files and a Columbo can really kill an afternoon)

"He looked at the camera!" - they're excitement over him remembering to do exactly what shouldn't be done that was my highlight

What about us brain-dead slobs?
You'll be given cushy jobs!
Were you sent here by the Devil?
No, good sir, I'm on the level!

Will people now think I'm shaving off my hipsterish, lumberjack beard because Dan said so? I swear I'm getting married in a week, that' the real reason!

Loved reading along for the past year (even though I may only have commented a few times). I was a 90s punk, though a couple years behind Jason (didn't get to highschool until '96 where I could be introduced to another world of music). Lots of nice reminders of bands I have forgotten about, and still plenty that

I have a fairly limited cable package, but I do get Me-TV, and it certainly is in my 10 go to stations (if there are even 10). Taxi, Leave It to Beaver, Gilligan's Island, Twilight Zone, Star Trek, what other station can compete?
Well, perhaps the retro cartoon station I also get, the Animaniacs / Tiny Toons /

Yes, the point of bit was (to me at least) that the singers were all actually Canadian (McCulloch, Fielder, LaJoie) and have made their mark in American comedy, but then they have a "Canadian comic" who is clearly supposed to only be funny to Canadians.
Anyone know who played the comic?

Yes. I scrolled through just to see if anyone else pointed this out. I don't know if she knew the wife or not, but it was clear her testimony was all made up to get herself more attention. The point of "she texted me her dead face after she died" was not that she actually got that text, but that this is the only

This show is too funny to have so few comments. The docotor seen with Gil and George was top shelf, especially the arugment over Freddy Mercury Poisoning.

The whole cast has a knack for hilarious pronounciations. I could listen to Gil and George say "Pupcrn" for about a season and a half.

After Chang being ready to answer any question and being asked if he ever masturbated in the study room, the cut to him simply getting up and walking away was the funniest edit I've seen in a long time.

I had a teacher that started up this Radio Class as his pet project, we all had to audition to be in it, so we were all hand picked for the first year.
Near the end of the year he decided to show us his favorite movie of all time: "My Dinner with Andre". While some of us were aware of it via Simpsons references, it

My high school actually had a "Screen Education" class offered in each of the last three years, so I of course took all three. Not only did I make some lifelong friends in the class, but we got to watch movies like Indiana Jones, Witness, Blade Runner (don't worry, we didn't allow the teacher's obsession with

Do you think they forced that movie on him? "No, seriously, this only works if you rent a thematically appropriate movie, so put that copy of Captain Ron back and take This Is The End, dammit!"

How does 4cm of sand a day end up being 50 meters in a year? My space math has it being 14.6m. Maybe someone's space abacus has a blown power converter.

Deeply red blood huh?  So you could say it was… profoundly red?

That line sounded very much like Axe Cop

Why do you need new bands? Everyone knows rock attained perfection in 1974. It's a scientific fact.

I didn't do much partying for the first two years of high school, but then I moved and things at the new school picked up.  The friends I fell in with had parents that went away all the time, so while we weren't the coolest group of friends, everyone still came to our parties.  At first I was surprised how easy it was
