And more cowbell.
And more cowbell.
I'll see your daisy and raise you The Kindred and Ichabod performing "Puttin' on the Ritz"
Seriously. Turn someone into a newt or GTFO.
Seriously, it's like StrongBad gets to write these scripts! Read that sentence again in your StrongBad voice. The only thing missing is cameo by Limozeen.
You left out the most important part:
Ichabod goes the beach and sees Abbie in a bathing suit. Katrina who?
Good, 'cuz I'm two weeks from retirement. Got me a nice cabin by the lake and I'm gonna fix us this boat…
He could have just wiped his hands on one of those worthless halflings. Look, there's one standing *right there*! Those black tabards can soak up a lot of tomato juice before you need to send them to the dry cleaner.
I though Franklin Stein was the diversity hire guy whose sizable endowment made Sterling Archer simultaneously jealous and uncomfortable?
Insert obligatory Juggalos joke.
I can't wait for a flashback of Ichabod angrily cooling his heels in the front parlor of some Paris bordello while Franklin gets serviced by half a dozen French prostitutes. Ichabod dealing uncomfortably with all the come hither stares will be comedy gold.
Special Features for the Season 7 DVDs will be the elaborate fist bump that turns into a full-on dance number.
You can almost hear the gears in his head turning while he was doing that. "I have observed the humans interacting with their canine pets and believe 'petting' a dog is done thusly…" He looked like an animatronic Macy's display. It was priceless.
That was perfect! I love Boardwalk for the fact that amidst all the serious sets and life-or-death struggles, they work in a some Three Stooges level slap stick. And Van Alden wins a trophy for Most Awkward Petting of a Puppy. It was almost as funny as Eli vs. the Pheasant Feather of Vexation.
Hat tip for the "Stardust" reference — one of my favorite books! And OMG the mutual reaction shots as Ghost!Richard and Ghost!AR trade deadpan observations and quips would be a thing of a genius.
Yeah, lots of timeline questions are bubbling up. The whole adult-looking Irisa and Chai (who I am now calling Malachai Irathowicz) attempting to hijack a spaceship continues to muddy my understanding of the Ark flight and Votan arrival. And good call on the first generation character challenges.
OK, timeline speculation. If Irisa is having "flashbacks" of herself and Malachai Irathowicz *as adults* hijacking a Votan ship while the Ark fleet is either still on its way to Earth or at least still intact and in orbit, how would that work? Nolan rescued her during the Pale Wars when she was a child and Votan fleet…
Maybe not the barn burner of an episode that #2 and #9 were, but I am very much looking forward to season 2.
I wonder if not knowing if it would be picked up for a second season when the finale was written and filmed might have made it a bit less sure?
If that were to happen I'd expect him say something languid and catty like: "You're just going to have to shape shift back so that you have thumbs because I'm not getting up to let you out…"
Nope, pretty sure it's the hallucination-inducing Wormwood. That's old school absinthe with all the good stuff still in it.
I totally want to see an Archer-Orphan cross-over episode! Krieger and Cosima trying to figure out clone science-y stuff, Ray flirting with Felix, Archer falling for any number of the clones and getting his ass kicked by Helena, Sarah having a stare-down with Mallory…holy shitsnacks!
