It's not "as" different from earlier U2 as is some of the stuff on Zooropa, but it's 80% of the way there.

And you get to see him without a hat!

It's alright, it's alright, it's alright — your fingers moved in mysterious ways.

I can't agree with the claim that Achtung Baby "ultimately doesn’t sound radically different from U2’s previous output."  I remember being at my college's radio station when the first single ("The Fly") came in the mail, thinking, "Holy shit, that's U2?"  It was distorted, dark, weird — and then the album came.  Where

He's fine in Primal Fear, but obvs it's Edward Norton (and the script) that made that movie.  Heckuva deep cast — Linney, Mahoney, McDormand, Braugher … even a small part for John Locke.

As an actual U of C Law alum, I can attest that we didn't have a lot of time for DOC Films.  Mostly on the weekends when they had the recent releases, if at all.

Or Four Weddings and a Funeral; Sex, Lies and Videotape; or Short Cuts.

Best thing about this episode?  The hint that David Lee is coming back.

Well, Eli's not a lawyer, and it's still bizarre that his practice has been integrated as a full department of a law firm's.  (All sorts of ethical rules against lawyers bringing in non-lawyers as partners).  It's conceivable that he'd want Alicia to serve as in-house counsel to a separate crisis

And, indeed (checking the recaps), Ozzy did tell Keith he had the HII, and Keith told Whitney.

Amazing not only on its own terms, but as a reflection of a band's ability to pause and reinvent itself after the bloated excess of Rattle and Hum.

Or — and this certainly was the case last season with Boston Rob — they already know that Ozzy has the HII, but the producers don't want to reveal that as motivation.

There's a lot of high school/college/community theater takes on Urinetown available on YouTube, and you need the right Lockstock to have Too Much Exposition set the right tone.  Hail Malthus!

two words: "dickless jig."

And, moreover, not every East Coast market even has a late football game on CBS, or the games may end at different times.

Free Jay Pharoah!

It's unclear whether his "I wasn't sure I could be funny" was covering for a powerplay where he wanted Lorne to move him up to the season debut once they moved Zoolander's release date.  And Lorne refused.

Make it broader: "Survivor: Second Chances."  Bring back Michael Skupin and anyone else who was medivac'd out, bring back Sue and Jenna because they left All Stars I involuntarily, bring back Paschal because he got screwed by the Purple Rock of Death.

Whenever there's a discussion of "who else should be brought back to Survivor," that challenge is why I always list Andrew Savage in my top five.

I think RI can work, but in an hour-long episode it means cutting out reward challenges, and that sucks.  Part of what makes Survivor great are the "pick which two of your friends get to go with you on the reward" forced tribe separations.
