Star Trek: The Prodigy

Or that Archer spent an entire season Operation Enduring Freedom-ing his way across the galaxy.

It baffles me that people fixate on Tuvix when Janeway is literally responsible for the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands.

I’m sure that Janeway will teach them important lessons about Starfleet. Such as if two of your officers merge into a single, independent, gestalt being; said being has absolutely no rights and can be murdered for literally any reason.

I’m all for taking Kirby’s art direction and putting it on the big screen, but some of his storylines were questionable

If John Landis has proved anything, it’s that if you’re famous enough in Hollywood you can kill pretty much anybody on set and get away with it.

The show should be a lot higher than 50, to be honest. The last three seasons are just brilliant.

I know, I’m just having fun. Once they get to Comdex in the latter half, it takes a significant leap in quality and you can start to see how the rest of the show will play out.

It’s funny you describe Joe as cartoonish because my favorite worst scene from season 1 is when he appears like Bugs Bunny out of nowhere with

Yeah it starts getting good in the last 3rd of the first season or so, when they car trip to the convention.

I simply don’t understand why Cop Rock, which was one of the worst TV shows of all time and produced in a completely different century, wasn’t included.

50. Halt and Catch Fire (excl. season 1)

I don’t find this show particularly enjoyable, but I eagerly watch every episode because of how much it fascinates me as a case study in what distinguishes good TV from bad TV. The show is a remarkable mix of things done exceptionally well (most noticeably, the special effects, set design and cinematography) with

I signed up for Apple TV+ to watch, but I’m so far not really enjoying it. I do see more how they’ve adapted the story, which I guess is fine, but gal-axy! the style is boring. It’s like watching an hour-long commercial for an expensive perfume. “Psychohistory. By Seldon.”

The Janeway hologram will have three different personalities, just like the real Janeway.

Does the Janeway hologram teach these kids to be murdering lunatics like the real Janeway?

According to Scotty, his automation system was good enough that a “chimpanzee and two trainees” could run the Enterprise.

More importantly where’s my Rappin’ Jake Sisko series? If they’re handing out new high-concept Star Trek shows right and left they can’t find a way to make that work?

Well to be fair, you didn’t have access to TRT, HGH, or whatever mix of gear he used to get huge.

Maybe.
