I just have to say that I loved everything about the cave painting scene: Offerman & Pill curled-up watching it by fire light. The dog. The “we’re the same” and “how could life not change?”

We also don’t really know what they knew when.

I probably really liked this episode... except for the five minutes with Kenton. Because Kenton sucks. Everytime he reappears it’s like “Again with this guy?”

This isn’t a great answer, but the first season was explicitly a story about stories. (the second kindof was too, although it was also a bit of a mess)

Trevor Einhorn played Frederick in Frasier

I liked the heist episode just because everyone was working together for once...but the musical part was definitely a pretty fanservicey addition.

All of the is why I actually was pretty happy with this season.

I thought they were both great.

Old X-men comics were famous for having baseball game issues. There would be a giant, world-ending crisis! And then when it was over the next issue was just everyone back at the mansion goofing around.

I think the show handled Quentin’s loss pretty well season. They spent time addressing it, and with him gone it wasn’t a bad idea to use this final season to give the other characters a bit more space and focus.

This article reminds me that it’s time for my semi-annual visit to Shane Carruth’s imdb to see if he’s working on anything new.

I’ve generally liked the show, and this final season. But since about the second season I’ve wished that the ensemble would actually spend more time together.

It is so great. It makes me wonder how frustrated they were waiting so long to really bust out the synths.

A happy-go-lucky golden retriever is going to have a hard time trying to compete with Bear from PoI.

So you’re saying it’s like trek’s version of the deathstar? And you might be right.

Okay, ONE more.

1000% agree. It was just too much time spent in what was basically one setting. I think they could have compressed the nag stuff down to a half season, then maybe jumped to the planet of the apes or something random for a few episodes of fun. And then season 3 as a Running Man riff or whatever we're going to get.

I was a little disappointed in season 2, just because the Wolf stuff from season 1 was so, so, so good.

I realized that I forgot some timelines:
