In general, I really hope they get rid of the lip sync for the crow format or double down with it and actually make the lip syncs matter and create more surprise winners because someone came in, slayed the lip sync, and snatched the crown from the favorite. Just because now it feels utterly pointless as Ru/production

Though last week’s shenanigans left a BIG BAD taste in both prior contestants and the DR fandom it was obvious done so both of the true top two queens would walk away with a crown and cash since there isn’t a “Miss Congeniality” runner up consolation prize. Though lip service was paid on Shea being overlooked this

The Viv won +20k cash, way more than big zero she got on DRUK. She’ll be alright; if she blows it all in Vegas before returning home, her fault. :-P

I think the 3 stars in the last challenge was rigga Morris to some extent.

...and The Vivienne is called the “Powerhouse Scout”

Yeah, enjoyed this season. Overall fun, funny and interesting, and I’m happy with the ultimate results. Jinkx arguably won this season, regardless of the lip sync finale, but I kinda felt that Shea threw the match. We’ve seen her dance better, but it seemed Jinkx was more choreographed. Maybe it’s just me.

This acting challenge was one of the best that we’ve seen because the roles in it were so unfairly balanced: we had three main roles, two “B” parts, and a trio of crappy background characters, just like a real play. While that made for a satisfying viewing experience, it also meant that everyone not named Viv, Shea,

Agreed. Complimentary confused with complementary, adverse wrongly used when averse was called for, and perhaps worst: misspelling Betsey Johnson’s name throughout. AV Club: perhaps a copy editor is called for? Even after publishing? (I’m not available, but I know many who are!)

That’s fair, and I am watching this on an iPhone, so perhaps some of the details were lost on the tiny screen. I just wanted to see more of Raja’s look in the front, but it just seemed like it had so many layers that it looked cluttered and unrefined (to me).

I wonder if any of the queens have actually used the plunger for what it was made for.

Shea’s leggings were such a cop out, I can’t believe they didn’t read her for it! The pink color didn’t even coordinate with the ruffled sleeves... Monet’s look was not good but I thought Raja pulled hers off, particularly compared to what it looked like on the dress form. The top two this week were well deserved &

But the big question this week: who benefits more, Pinterest being advertised on Drag Race or Drag Race getting to advertise Pinterest?  :D

Maybe if they had a scoreboard of the number of stars, plungers, etc. it would feel like more of a competition. Right now it just seems to meander along.

Yes, that’s a harsh assessment. This show has so many viewers that are so goddamned toxic; how do you offer meaningful critiques without later having your words twisted out of context by chauvinistic fans? With its latest staff cuts, I fear that the A.V. Club — which is down to reviewing seven or eight shows — is

Likewise, Trinity felt conflicted about double blocking Jinkx, a concern Monét did not share

AV Club.

You really don’t. The money is trash and it’s a boring grind.

The “Stupid” PSA was so nearly perfect I’m still glowing inside. Excellent ‘gotcha’.

Great job Natasha Lyonne, truly seemed like just another cast member. Kate and Aidy, we’ll miss you. Pete and Kyle, best of luck. Seriously though, it was Kate and Aidy’s show for ten years, and while I’m glad that some of the talented newcomers will finally get a chance, it is sad to see them go. Kyle and Pete each

I dunno, it’s hard not to get swept up in the fun of the Mr Dooley skit. It was as pretty dumb until the cast broke and Natasha’s almost super human ability bit to break.
