I’m just tired of the “I shouldn’t have been on the bottom” trope and I enjoyed seeing her get called out for even though overall I like Kornbread more than I like Jasmine

I liked the episode less than you did but more than Perkins did. I think Perkins’ fixation on Defoe as a “dramatic” actor who supposedly can’t do comedy is odd. It seemed like more of a preconception he had going into the episode than anything that was actually on display. Anyway, one of the basic pleasures of SNL is

Perkins clearly said that he will keep filing until his editor Danette Chavez officially leaves on March 2nd, which means one or two more of these recaps. I’m not sure why so many people are confused. And you know who’s going to do the recaps after Perkins? Most likely no one so there you go

You would think so yes but have you watched much SNL over the years?

I know. It’s almost unbelievable

What gets recaps and what doesn’t has never made much sense, particularly in the G/O media era. My guess is these SNL recaps do good numbers and so the suits/bean counters/what have you keep them around. Starting to recap a new show, even one as popular  as Yellowstone but without an established audience for AVC

I think it may have something to do with the music being terrible and the fan base being insufferable? Hope this helps

I had similar thoughts about the Puerto Rican queens over the herstory of the show. One thing is it seems like most (or all?)of them have come from pageant backgrounds and pageant queens are another group which haven’t been particularly strong on RPDR over the years. I’m pretty sure virtually all of the winners and

Meh. If you’re saying you shouldn’t have been in the bottom than by definition you’re saying another queen should’ve been there instead

I thought Alyssa won the lip sync and I like Kerri way more than I liker her. My wife thought it was because off the money gun mishap that she lost, referencing that Ru said if you’re gonna use a prop it better work in some previous season. I don’t remember Ru saying that though

Mando actually takes us off world to cool-looking places! Boba Fett is a boring homebody who never leaves Tatooine

I’m with you on that nitpick. It really really annoys me too

I loved them too and I’m 49. They also seemed to have solved the perennial SNL sound problems. Maybe those Marshall stacks behind them were real and not just a prop?

This was a weird episode and in a bad way. First of all, and I never would’ve expected this, there was so little Will Forte. Some of the weirdest host underutilization I’ve ever seen, especially considering the host was a former cast member.

It’s not even meant to be satirical. It’s jut a very good impression of his voice and verbal ticks and a reference to one small facet of his personality, which is his penchant for going on random rants about pop culture etc. If you’d rather not ever see a portrayal of Trump again or if you think every portrayal has to

The 2010 movie was surprisingly hilarious if you really like Forte and his weirdness

66 degrees is a totally normal temperature

right. Sorry

This episode combined two of my least favorite structural elements of RPDR: bringing back eliminated queens and having a far too long three lewk runway show. In fact the first “twist” was spoiled for me by the episode description on VH1 which talked about a marathon 42 look runway. This automatically meant that the

He’s edgy enough for the drag scene in Sprinfield Missouri lol
